Btw I wanted to point something out, since in the past weeks I was asked twice the same thing by members of this forum. I'm not a Magi mod, I'm the One Piece one. Just because I spend a lot of time here, that doesn't mean I'm the Magi mod.

^^ Just joking. I don't remember if you took part in the conversation whe had about OP on this forum some time ago; it's not that I don't like it, it's just that the character design doesn't suit my likings and prevent me from fully enjoying the manga. Even though everyone tells me it's great.

You get used to it, I wasn't a fan of it at first either, but it kinda is good at times. And there's a lot of bishies in it, you can at least count two (Shanks and Kidd) who are redheads. I know you like them.
The story is great for the most part, but it can be repetitive, which seems to be the major inconvenience of shonen mangas these days.

I don't know why you would want to be a Mod, no offense to our mods here, but posting my thoughts on this forum is something I really love, one thing which most of the mods rarely do, airmattress, for example would post a lot more before than she does now, but it may just be me, I mean I spend wayy too much time on this forum.

Anyway, there are a lot of reasons why I'm not posting as much, and being a mod is hardly a factor. The main reasons are that I did not like the way Ohtaka was pulling plot twists each chapter that would throw all our speculation down the drain so quickly, to the point were I really don't have any motivation to discuss anything Kou arc related, plus I don't have as much free time as I did before in general.

And I actually find making speculations more fun, I mean imagine if you actually get one of Ohtaka's plot twists, even if by a little! And these kinds of actions do make reading the story so much more fun, because of all you can get by trying to go deep in order to predict a plot twist, not that I am in anyway trying to convince you of doing something you have no time for, just giving my views on why trying to predict plot twists can be quite fun, even if you fail.

Oh? I was around back when airmattress was a normal member, and I can safely say he basically stayed the same person. And he does post quite often. Unfortunately for him he can't argue with Eastgrove over 10 pages anymore

It's not like the twists have been unpredictable.

Everyone considered Hakuei being a host for Gyokuen, which is why no one really believed it would happen.

Everyone considered the likelihood of the SSA supporting Hkauryuu during the civil war, as that was really the only group he could turn to for support. Yet, I did not think Sinbad would get involved as I thought it was out of character for him. Lo and behold we have reason to think he's not in character, a revelation that had a fair amount of foreshadowing.

However, I do dislike mind control and possession in stories. It's hard to take any character in such a story seriously when there's a factor like that involved. If free will doesn't exist, it's pointless to try to understand the people in a story, and if you can't understand and empathize with characters, how can you derive any enjoyment from them?
