I'm not sure of the intricacies of why this happens. But I don't believe it happens all the time.

What might be going on is you multi-quoting in a thread, deciding not to post and then attempting the same thing later in said thread and those original multiquotes still being active. That happens quite frequently for me. Other than that I don't know.

Another annoying little bug but i doubt it can be solved : the multiquote stays active even after having posted.
Ex :
For post1 i multiquote postA and postB and publish it
Later on if I want to quot postC for another post, it will be multiquoted along with postA and postB

Do you mean that when you tick on multiquotes, that even after you reply in the same thread, that it still shows? DO you usually do fast reply or add reply? if so, then that's a weird bug. Not sure if Fast Reply works but Add Reply usually does.

I usually multiquote but when I don't reply, it still carries over. Usually you can just deselect the quotes or get rid of it without hurting your current quote or reply.

I think I used the fast reply but I'm not sure. It happened several time that's why I mentioned it but I think it is a vbulletin bug.

If it's still there even after Add Reply, then I think it's a bug. Otherwise if you don't use Add Reply when multiquoting, it's probably a feature of VBulletin since Fast Reply doesn't quote the posts.

Thanks for this lovely site. I do like so much the thanks and like buttoms, and the notification system. It would be nice if quotations of one's own posts would be also notified.

I know it's possible to customize one's notifications with IP Board (Invision Power Board) e.g. turn on notifications for quotes as well as keep the standard notifications for thanks/likes. However I'm unsure if vB supports such a feature. Either way it's a good suggestion that I'm sure many members will benefit from if it's possible to apply.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what is vP? I see that, for instance, this web site, that seems to be working whit the same notification system, allows quotations/thanks/likes notifications. But what I'm saying could be nonsense, since I know nothing about coding :-)

vB stands for vBulletin, how does Arlong Park Forums allow quotation notifications, by PM or profile notifications like new thanks/likes?

The only free plugin I could find notifies users of quoted posts by PM, I guess APF uses a custom plugin. We can install this plugin after making sure it doesn't cause a conflict with other plugins we use on MH.

You can ask them the name of the plugin they use for quote notifications. Having another option doesn't hurt.

Oh, now this is a new type of message. The plugin is called "Who Quoted Me" but I don't know the version details off the top of my head. Hope that helps.

This information is enough, the plugin at vBulletin site was for older versions of vBulletin, it seems it works on vBulletin version 4.x as well. I'll talk with other techs and install one of these plugins, whichever is more suited.

I installed the "Who Quoted Me" plugin, members can now see who quoted them in their control panel. If they also want to receive notifications, they can enable Quote Notifications in General Settings.

Thanks Miyag. Now, is it working? I have enabled quote notification in general settings panel, and I have read 2 quotes since then in One Piece section, but 0 notifications.

I'll do a trial quoting myself

Quoting yourself doesn't work, it's by design. Are the quotes in OP section new? If you were quoted before I installed the plugin, these quotes aren't on the database.
