Random idea that keeps on popping up. Could Marco use his Devil Fruit to bring back Ace to life at the cost of his own And transfer his devil fruit to Ace in the process?

I think you are confusing Marco and Law abilities. Law can sacrifice his life to grant someone immortality.

There has never been any mention of Marco having any special power that requires sacrificing his own life. And it's very unlikely that ability would exist, since Marco is a Zoan, not a Paramecia with powers that meet certain "conditions".

And Brook is the only Devil Fruit that can revive the dead, and it only works if they consumed it while they were alive. Moriah cannot revive the deads, only use their bodies.

Also why would Marco transfer his Devil Fruit to Ace? His flames can already heal other people. But it does not work to the extend of the injuries Ace or Whitebeard received from Akainu.

And Ace already consumed a Devil Fruit. If he had another fruit, instead of being healed by the Phoenix ability, he would just die.

And personally I think Marco healing other people with his zoan fruit is just side effect of awakening. Since his fruit has zoan and kind of paramecia traits.

Not confusing them. Just going based on his Zoan and what it represents. Which it's a Phoenix. One part of the history of the Phoenix is that it returns and comes back stronger than before. So I wasnt thinking about Law more about Marco's devil fruit itself

Just saying it could be possible. Eitherway he would sacrifice his live to strengthen the lifeforce of someone else. If Luffy should die, i would bet on Law resurrecting him and dying in the process.

Let's make it step by step, shalln't we?

Moria takes Ace's body and fill it with Luffy's shadow.
Marco (preferrably with Ivankov's help) heals the hole in Ace's body.
Law sacrifices his life to make Ace immortal.

Of course the chance they are willing to do this is zero.

Besides, it would not be Ace, it would be Luffy's shadow in Ace's body.

If Marco could do that, why didn't he do it when Squard stabbed Whitebeard?

Only Brook can come back to life. This was explained. Marco can only heal others. And since he is the phoenix, only he theoretically can rise from his own ashes, not someone long dead.

He had a fairly large hole in his stomach and has been essentially rotting for 2 years. And marco is a phoenix but his ability isn't to resurrect himself, its to regenerate.

Well the resurrection might include restored body.
But revived Ace will be PIS and only served as fan service

I feel like if he could do that, marco would already revive whitebeard

bringing back from the dead is already shown with Moria, and in some ways Big Mama's ability allowing inanimate objects get life is the same. I dont see Oda exploring this again.

None of those are actual resurrections. Or even close for that matter... Moria merely makes puppets out of other people's shadows... And what big mom does is even further away from this.
