Discussion Marineford 2 Arc is coming

I'm totally convinced that after Wano arc, we'll be seeing another Marineford arc, here's why.
We've got the news of Sabo fighting with Admirals in Mary Geoise and considering the surprise of Revolutionary's, we can pretty much assume that he's captured, even worse that WG probably framed him of killing King of Alabasta. That means he's in custody, waiting to be executed in a near future.

On the other hand, after the abolishment of Shichibukai system, navy started to attack previous Warlord and attempting to capture them, so they can show the world that they're rightous. To be honest, it surprised me that they send Coby to capture Boa Hancock, because no matter how much Coby improved in this past 2 years, I still think it'll be impossible to capture Pirate Empress by himself alone. That means, he's not alone. He most likely have Dr. Vegapunk's new weapon with him, that's why he's sent to capture Hancock, because Navy assumes that new weapons will be more than enough to beat Warlords and they'll succeed I think. Boa Hancock and Buggy will be captured and they'll be jailed to be executed the same day as Sabo.

After Wano arc, Luffy will learn about Sabo and others and head to new Marineford to save them, I think Revolutionary army will be there to save Sabo as well. We might see another Luffy- Jimbei- Ivankov combo.

What is your opinion on this?

Naah Jump covers have hardly any implications for the Canon plot. Actually Lucci could have a chance of appearing since Wano already involves CP0 though.

I also don't think there is going to be a new Marineford arc either. That would be just a retelling of the past.

We are nearing the end. Everything post Wano has to serve the sole purpose of finishing all plotlines left hanging, intervowen with the main plot which is:

1. Find the last Road Poneglyph
2. Go to Laugh Tale and find One Piece
3. Defeat the Celestial Dragons at Mary Geoise

Sabo, the Revolutionaries, the Shishibukai, the Marines and everything else needs to be intervowen into that.

The Strawhats can't have any plotline that doesn't lead to the achievement of the three steps above anymore.

Personally I think it's going to happen but in a much Wilder scale. After wano, we will have The last Island which is Raftel. There will be Blackbeard as a main nemesis and let's say semi-final boss. After getting their bands on The one piece, i have a feeling that luffy will go apeshit, and continue with his declaration to not bend a knee to WG. And it will be The biggest war One piece have seen

I wouldn't be surprised if a Marineford like arc was coming again. Nothing with Impel Down though, just he execution thing. Execute Sabo, Hancock, Vivi, Luffy comes to save them all, and succeeds.

Well.... yeah? The second great war was largely set up since the marineford war. Add to that most world powers being on an arms race. Overall its a fairly obvious development.

They are covers, but... as you said, CP0 is already in Wano. Then we have Oda's declaration that this year "Sabo will... Vivi will... Hancock will...".

I think Hancock(and possibly Sabo) will be captured and set for execution and that will make Luffy move directly against the Navy headquarters and by extension the World Government.

From Oda's announcement at Jump Festa in December it sounds like Sabo, Hancock and Vivi are in dire straits.
Couple that with Garp telling the Fishmen that they have to forgive what happened "to Alabasta." So Something probably happened with Vivi. Maybe she was the "light" that they "snuffed out" by Im's command? It seemed like the Elder 5 thought that Alabasta was essentially a traitor nation due to their king being the only one not to join the Tenryuubito.
Then we have the Revolutionaries concerned about Sabo's well being, coupled with the fact that Sabo just faced off with the Admirals to save Kuma. Sabo is strong, but that doesn't bode well for him.
Coby taking on Hancock seems like a stretch, but Oda has kind of ignored linear progression when it comes to Coby's strength to an almost ridiculous extent. I wouldn't be surprised if the stars have just lined up for these three to all be in a horrible predicament that incites something.

Now, Luffy probably won't hear anything about them until he's defeated Kaido and Big Mom on Wano, as its borders are closed.

The confusing thing is that the above three people being executed, or whatever and inciting a post-Wano Marinford-esque arc is that Oden's past with Roger (as well as Whitebeard's final statement) seem to indicate that a great war is coming, but only after Roger's successor finds One Piece and discovers some damning information about the world that will make them want to smash the Tenryuubito (I assume the poneglyph has something to do with Tenryuubito, since they're in control of everything and so scared of the void century, where those poneglyphs come from). Also, Dragon could save Sabo, or try to. The revolutionaries are planning to attack at some point anyways, I'm assuming.

So I think a Marineford arc will happen, but not a rescue arc.

Let me correct you:

1. Get the 3rd Road Poneglyph
2. Get to Elbaf and find the last Road Poneglyph
3. Go to Laugh Tale and find One Piece then fight with the Blackbeard Pirates
4. Train 10 years and bounce back into the Holyland with the reunited crew.
