Yeap yeap, I'm looking for #12-14 starring those 3. Sorry for the confusion when I described them as a cross-over :p Seems like Fathom is now with Aspen (Michael Turner's own company) and a 2nd team has taken over from Top Cow. My friend pointed me to their web site. Now all that remains is to hunt down the actual comics :tem
Well, try Mile High Comics: http://www.milehighcomics.com/cgi-b...t&title=31397391104&publisher=IMTC&snumber=41

That's how I get any comics to fill gaps in my collection, if I can't find it cheaper on e-bay. Usually you can't find sales better than at Mile High though.

@ GK: Are you still collecting Witch Blade? I stopped after 30...the story-line started sounding a bit like X-Files. Who has taken over the art work now? If you liked Witch Blade, I think you'll like Fathom as well. Give it a try ;)
I stopped buying it around 30 too. Was a reader mostly because of Michael Turner's artwork. But I still liked the concept and watched the Witchblade TV series too, which should've never been cancelled.

Maybe I should have said I was a former Witchblade fan, but I still keep up with it at the store. Mike Choi's the latest artist.

Always meant to pick up Fathom though. Michael Turner's actually from where I live, which is weird. Found out about it in the paper a while ago.

Re: American Comics Thread!

im readin 100 bullets right now. its really good.
basic story is that people that has been wronged in the past (lost a business because of false pedophile charges as an example)
get visited by a guy that calls himself Agent Graves. He always brings a briefcase with undeniable proof of the persons innocence
and the name of the real culprit. plus an untraceable pistol and 100 bullets. needless to say different people react different to this so
its not especially repetative even though everyone gets the same motivation.. if you all get a chance i advise you to read it. its good

Re: American Comics Thread!

I've read Sin City, Sin City: The Big Fat Kill and Sin City: That Yellow bastard in Greek and Sin City: A Damme to Kill for in English. I only own the first two though. Anyhow, I'd like to read Frank Miller's 300 because I really liked his view of the battle as seen in a page from the Big Fat Kill where he mentions it :ossu This one I'll buy sooner or later I guess...

What I can't buy but want is... all of Spawn!! :shifty

i misread that one the first time. NO he doesnt, he gives you a chance for revenge. or retribution. and you would be acting above the law.

Re: American Comics Thread!

thanks boffen :glomp u're so sweet! no worries, i've asked a fren of mine to look around her city for them. U know, that plot sounds a little like the movie "Usual suspect 2", more likely the movie copied from the comic. :smile-big

Got a hold of a big Deadpool torrent. Very amusing, the guy is like a mix of Spider-Man and Wolverine. ^____^ (he even has BETTER wise-cracks than Spidey. :o)

Re: American Comics Thread!

Btw, Anax, I read Spawn up to issue 80. After that I no longer cared, because Greg Capullo left the book. His art was the only reason I kept reading, but I definitely think it's poorly written and I doubt you'd like it much. There are some good issues, though.

Re: American Comics Thread!

I am surprised you stuck around that long. I read to 100. The stuff after mcfarlene stopped writing was shit. I wish he had made it more about the super villians along with his problems rather than just his emo problems all the time. Him being Spawn.

Re: American Comics Thread!

Hi everyone, I'm a bit surprised there's a American Comics Thread here. Comics, manga and anime are the three main ways I spend my paycheck. :D
And I noticed that kaskus was mentioned. It's quite a coincidence since I regularly go there (the US Comics sub-forum) every day and uploads whatever I can (If my connection is good).
@Brede, which comics are you looking for? Maybe I got it in my hard drive and I can upload it.

@Everyone: Anyone read Civil War #2 yet? It's the confession of the century! Now there's no more great secret in this reality.
