It really doesn’t matter cuz Ingeel perform a better feat nonetheless merc lifting an ocean didn’t do nothing but make base natsu wet pretty much it's useless vs igneel plus none of the DGs is on anco level until further feats are shown

A feat that does not mean much at all when he could not defeat Acno both times, and Merc at 50% is just half of Acno, Merc was not even serious until Natsu became Acno level after eating Ignia flames, the feats have shown they are on Acno level though with Lifting an ocean and Etherion which Acno scales to being in the same stat

Merc is 50% isn’t on half acno I don’t believe that for a sec 2. Merc was serious the entire time and lost in natsu in 4 hits while Ingeel lasted 20 mins and was able to put damage on acno while merc could not. A “multi continental”feat that ur claiming make natsu wet that’s all. Anco eat magic and steal dragons soul merc isn’t so nothing on anco even at 100%

Well he is, Igneel even Acno has not demonstrated any feats that would match his, no he was not, even Wendy makes a point of this after Natsu got the upgrade, Igneel had PoF going for him and it still did not put Acno down. Natsu has Acno/DG level strength after eating the flames and Merc was half that, and Natdu was absolutely powerless against Merc pre upgrade and he was going to be killed on multiple occassions, it does not matter since Merc was not even trying, we saw him get serious when Ignia appeared, that doesn’t change anything as Etherion scalin to acno is on the same level as Dragon Gods that both feats are Multi-Continent level

So? Anco can take his soul and/or eat his magic again not on his lvl. Ingeel losing is irrelevant cuz merc lost too the question who perform better feats even after taking a L the winner Ingeel by ripping His arm off vs Merc getting destroy in 4 hits and couldn’t put damage on natsu. 1. Natsu was slightly holding back cuz he didn’t want to fight the water god the way he was. 2. Base gray froze his beams 3. I could say natsu didn’t use FDKM nor DF natsu didn’t use his full power either according to ur logic. What did Wendy say? She didn’t say anything about natsu being on DG level. Merc was serious the entire time just that he couldn’t put damage on team natsu until he use the whirlpool feat. Ingeel ripping feat according to ur scaling is multi continental too

An ocean is not magic though, he can just drop it on Acno and it would cause damage to him. It is relevant, taking an arm is hardly even worth anything, I can take an arm too, but I cannot lift an ocean which Merc can do. Natsu was 100% Acno level while Merc was 50% Acno, Igneel is weaker in both prime and weakened. Natsu did not hold back as he knew what he had to do. Water can be frozen, it is basic science. Ignia power already outstrips that of his other forms, he even couldn’t defeat Zeref in his strongest form apart from Savage Flames which he won’t use again. Wendy said that Merc was using a serious attack when he was about to attack Natsu. Natsu was on DG level as it was the same flames that evaporated most of the ocean Merc lifted, Merc was not serious the entire time otherwise he would have ended it instantly, possibly, but not strong enough to win either way

Igneel wins. Quite frankly I'm starting to believe ignia. He might have surpassed igneel. To be honest I don't feel that merchphobia or aldoron was weakened I feel it's a cop out, from mashima to confuse the fans.

I doubt that Ignia would be any different from the other DGs

Honestly, At this point you could say that Acno is far stronger with how Igneel performed.
