Mihawk like Ryuma is the best swordsman far by none. Oden as a swordsman is the closest to their lv, in terms of strength. But Mihawk seems to be the better swordsman able to turn his blade black just like Ryuma.

Mihawk wins IMO.

Oden is very overrated in-universe but the facts are that he was at his peak and didn't get black blades.

We don't know exactly how you get black blades but I prefer to think that the better swordsmen are the ones with them so I believe Mihawk should win.

Still, Oden had definitely incredible physical abilities and attack power. Maybe he can make up for his inferior skills (I assume) with this but I think he'd still lose.

I think Oden has a stronger CoA, but his synergy with his swords isn't as great as people like Ryuma and Mihawk.

It's really hard to gage how strong Mihawk is but we can take his word for it when he said he wanted to see the distance between whiteboard and himself. Oden died 20 years ago when Kaido himself was weaker and potentially beatable. We would need to know when Kaido became an Emperor but currently Kaido would beat Oden. Mihawk would beat Oden.

Really? my inclination was for oden in this one. Oden was just about a yonko level fighter. Mihawk could be up there of course but even he respected good old vista and didn't immediately win that fight against him. Add to that, so far we have seen yonko take on commanders with ease... I would give mihawk a win over vista with some comfort but even among yonko there could be differences in strength (I am inclined to thinking shanks is actually on the lower end of strength for yonko).

Oden died 20yeats ago & lost to Kaido who’s still active and viewed as the Strongest on the Seas.

Mihawk’s title, Fame & Hype. Puts him above all and anyone that uses a sword against him..So Oden loses.
