Naruto's Monogatari
Kishimoto's current arc could be revealed as his masterpiece inside what is becoming his first and maybe his all time masterpiece, ending this arc just as the manga begins, so far this arc have everything that make a story a masterpiece. Everything is being explained the situation that led towards the death of his parents, nothing is left to waste. As each chapter progress the more is the advance towards it's conclusion in the next chapter, maybe this kind of comment should be written at the very end of the arc, however I feel bound to say that we should not judge a book by it's cover, this in clear reference to the first 5 chapters that clearly were the introduction to this whole arc.
A good book, a good movie... always starts by explaining you the basics; the who, where, why; then is where the plot starts to take shape, this exactly what's going on right know and with this I mean the last five chapters. Kishimoto is determined to show us how the story of Uzumaki Naruto begun, making sure that the make character receive the appropriate closure by showing detailed information with surgeon's precision and who can blame him, this is his first work, the one that finally got published, the one that made him worldwide recognition, even faster than Dragon ball's Akira Toriyama, these details should be taken in consideration before writing or reading this review.
What if...
The first page of the chapter Kishimoto answers masterfully this question all of us made to ourselves at least once, what if Madara never attacked or what if Minato and Kushina survived the rampage of that night?
The Uzumaki-Namikaze family is shown, Kushina wearing an apron revealing the "gray" symbol of her clan, while Naruto sneaks out with a sandwich. ~ Some people intermediately thought, Naruto is escaping from Kushina's meal, I rather to believe that in this reality he is not much different to what he is right know, after all as I said, Naruto's character and fighting style is the same as his mom and honestly I can't wait to see this arc animated, because I'm 100% sure that this scene is a must to show how Kushina saw a future with Minato and Naruto, the three together.
Minato vs Madara
The battle between Namikaze Minato and Uchiha Madara, reaches it's climax, as revealed earlier in a fight between time-ninjutsu fighters the first blows could define the whole battle and it did. While there will be some controversy of whether or not this victory of Minato could be considered by some, determined due the lack of Magenkyo Sharingan's techniques, maybe is totally the opposite... maybe is due Minato's fighting styles that using at least technique like Amateratsu would be useless, in fact if others techniques failed to land on him, it would be it for his opponent.
Minato has decent chakra reserves, that can't be denied, but I do still believe that he has only as much as his student, Kakashi, would have if he didn't have the sharingan activated. Of course, let's remember that Jiraiya's goal of teaching Naruto how to pull out kyuubi's chakra was a clear evidence that he didn't have enough chakra as child to summon Gamabunta or any other of the frogs and we sadly we don't know exactly the amount of chakra required for reinforcing the seal, this will remain as topic of opinion at least till more is revealed about him.
However whether or not you think Minato lives to his hype as character, something is now written in stone, Minato is strong and was capable of doing something that Konoha not one have done in the manga since the first Hokage, and this touching and land an attack on him, of course "not considering Yamato trapping him in mokuton as a hit".
Minato's attack was so strong that it cause the chain to go across his hand.
But not only he landed an attack on Madara, in a few seconds he marked him, this could be used as example of why he was called a genius of those born once in a decade, comparable to what Shikmaru have shown in the manga so far...
...as we have seen so far Shikmaru is capable of planning several attacks and counterattacks showing a great deal of intelligence, Minato not only shows being able to plan for a second attack, but also to plan a third well thought consecutive attack, the third being a sealing contract which releases the Kyuubi from Madara's control, the eyes of kyuubi returns to normal as the sharingan disappears from his eye...
... However after giving a deep look into the these panels, is interesting to see how the dots in the first eyes, match perfectly with the Magenkyo Sharingan of Izuna Uchiha, and actually the center is a dot..
as you can see the blacks area match perfectly with the position of the 3 dots in the eyes of Kyuubi, maybe just a coincidence, maybe the outcome of Izuna's eyes now being used by Madara.. or maybe this guy is Izuna Uchiha.
The fight between Yondaime and Madara ends with victory for minato, Madara accepting defeat after losing the control over Kyuubi.
Konohagakure no Sato
One of the man, if not the one who have more influence over Naruto is Iruka and is obvious that this arc would have been incomplete without showing the moment that would mark Iruka's life, becoming the first paternal figure for naruto and ~ if you might allow me to include my personal opinion, the most important, even more than Jiraiya, who would be more like a grandfather. ~
The shinobi of Konoha fight valiantly against he Kyuubi pushing the beast out from Konoha, however the kyuubi continues killing more and more people from Konoha,...
The night continues as the Kyuubi's continues his assault over Konoha, Iruka's mother becomes victim of these attacks when she uses her body to protect Iruka. Iruka is worried about his parents and he wants to stay and fight with them, but they all can do is to put his safety firsts, that night Iruka never imagined that he would grow to be trusted by shodaime with the care of Naruto, the Jinchuuriki of the nine tails.
The brave efforts of Sandaime and the villagers are clear, they are fighting the beast with all they got, pushing it out from their village successfully, while this happens Sandaime ask where is Minato?, but exercise leadership as he order to continue the assault on the Kyuubi. People from the Sarutobi, Akimichi and what seems to be the symbol of the senju clan appears among the villagers attacking the Kyuubi.
Konoha 11's leaders.
A funny aspect of the chapter that Konoha's 11 future captains were forced to remain behind a barrier, locked like children, a interesting fact is Kurenai's attitude, willing to fight the kyuubi, while Gai was really quiet about it, an aspect that honestly was a bit off for the chapter, was Kurenai's father asking kurenai to survive just to have his grandchild, what the heck... the girl is saying that she is willing to protect the village and best Kishimoto came with was, with "survive long enough to give me a grand child", this reviewer, future father(someday), reserves the right to not use the picture of this prototype of parent", all I'll say is that Kurenai inherited her eyes from him.
However, "maybe he didn't choose most appropriate words, but he does care about the safety of daughter and the children of Konoha"

Minato vs Kyuubi
Minato reappear in Konoha again, watching the scene the only that comes from his mouth is "this awful", and right away it seems that he recognizes that the only person capable of stopping the Kyuubi is Kushina, due this all he thinks is about apologizing to Kushinafor what he will have to ask her to do in her current condition, before that happens Minato finally summons Gamabunta, finally and sadly the controversy of whether or not Minato was capable of summoning Gamabunta ends in this chapter, this controversy begun with the first scroll where Naruto signed his name, where nowhere minato's name appears, the scroll is replaced with a new one, where minato's name does appear.
Uzumaki Kushina
A truly amazing performance of Kushina and her abilities, being capable of taking down like this the kyuubi, somehow put's her in the level of Hashirama, at least when it comes of subduing the powers of the nine tails. Kushina is an amazing character, she was about to give her life to make sure her husband and child would survive, these are not confessions these are feelings made word, a confession is very different, they loved each other and they are just saying their goodbye, with the love they feel for each other, ohh kishimoto yet again you get us in shoujo's domain.
Kushina really is an amazing mom for Naruto and seriously a very well designed mother for a character like him. I found interesting the statement of yondaime about becoming the fourth hokage due her, that could have many interpretations. Maybe Kushina was considered a better candidate?, Maybe the council that by making Minato Hokage, he could have kushina in control (like gaara's case, or at least as said by one of the elders in such way). I wouldn't be surprised if Kushina were a better candidate, neither about the possibility of Minato being married to her as an extra point for him.

Kushina said such beautiful speech, that I decided that i won't spoil it out, if you have not read it go and read it. Also wait for Boyakist - Lost in translation for this chapter, post which will clearly enrich our understanding of everything. Kushina's abilities exceeded my expectations, I'm glad that I believed from day one that she was above the normal Kunoichi, just by having the confidence to take on the kyuubi by herself is great deal for me.

Minato really went all out praising his wife, saying so much about her, that made even Ohana shred tears for very long, as she announced it, in her spoilers post, this was really touching chapter and made makes you think a lot.
Yin Chakra and demon seal jutsu...
I really didn't expect the reason behind the Fuuin jutsu being the reason given, although there were 2 reasons, the main reason was "to see naruto one more time", Honestly I didn't cover the part of Jiraiya telling minato that he could be the child of prophecy, the one who will changes things or lead the change, because it pales in comparison to the reaction of Minato when Kushina tells him that she will seal the kyuubi inside her once more and die with it. Minato was shocked and he thought of watching naruto at least one more time, not because he wanted to see him, because he wanted to make sure that Kushina would see him.
Thoughts...
I apologize if missed a few images/pictures of the chapter, honestly 12 is my limit these days. The chapter was was extraordinary.. Even if the title was titled the minato's demon seal, the truth is that Kushina steals the show from the very beginning (cover) and by the end of the chapter, the conclusion of the fight between "Madara" and Minato was awesome, but watching Kushina was very touching and sad, beats down hinata's confession by a lot.. and I do love Hinata's confession chapter, but this a mother giving her life for her son and her husband and the husband giving away his life so his wife could see his son one more time, was the definition of love story of which romeo and Juliet would be jealous.
A well thought chapter overall, the comment of kurenai kinda sexist or not necessarily sexist, but not appropriated (in my opnion), because Kurenai's attitude was about fighting for the village. Kurenai have been always so calm, that this time she surprised me... I hope we get Hinata inheriting the will of her sensei, maybe kishimoto wanted to show us that as way to prepare us for something in the next chapters?
Prediction
Kushina and minato's last works towards sandaime and Kushina last words towards Naruto.
note: I'll edit the review a little tomorrow, to be honest got into automatic mode and couldn't stop writing at all.
