Fantasy Mirajane Strauss vs Wahl Icht

So this stems from a discussion with a friend where I pointed out that unlike all the shipper battles this arc, both Laxus and Mira didn't exactly have a common opponent. How do you think Mira would fare against Wahl Icht?

Wahl wins this if he doesn't make any mistakes during the fight.Hopefully he will not keep his eyes closed during the fight.

And if Mira doesn't have any plot protection during the fight.

His main weapon will be Rail gun and Lasers.It will inflict heavy injures on Mira.

So Wahl wins this mid high to high diff.

Yeah give me Wall mid diff. Weakness bots, assualt mode, railgun, anti matter laser, super anti material cannon. Too much for Mira. Her alergia satan soul will give her a chance but it's too risky.

Wahl wins Medium-difficulty... LOL Mirajane barely win against Blind jacob

Wall wins this. He's not blind and he's not Jacob. Once he goes into Assault mode it's like DS God Serena, just spam. Mira might be able to handle it if she's in Alegria form but that isn't long lasting, so Wall would still beat her.

He could just make an Elfman-bot and torment Mira.

I think Wahl is a bit overrated, but as i said recently, Mira is getting trashed over and over. Her "win" against a blind Jacob who didn't use Transport or Stealth is an incredibly mediocre feat considering this left her magicless afterwards.
Wahl wins this - i'd say mid to high diff.

Imo the battle Mira had with Jacob was an even one, (mira was already exhausted af and jacob had his eyes closed) , and it looked like Mira beat Jacob with extreme high difficulty.
And i guess Jacob And wahl both are around the same level, if not Jacob< Wahl. (still the diff isnt much)

So tbh, Im leaning towards Wahl but im going to give benefit to the doubt that Mirajane alegria's massive attack power can also do some serious damage,may be risky but yeah. And lets not forget that mira can counter Wahl's laser guns with Nukes and about weakness bots, just like in ch 456, Mirajane doesnt really have a real weakness its just the Elfman Bot which if mira is going all out she'd easily be able to take down. (it was for comedy anyways) What mira's real challenge is wahl's assault mode and i dont think even mira's alegria can match that much attack power nor do i think mira has some defence stratergies.

So im going to give this battle to Wahl - Extreme High difficulty

It was an off screened fight so we cant really say that he didnt use stealth, moreover even if he did use stealth, Mira's nukes would be enough to bring him out of stealth.

If Alegria lasted longer, I might have said high/extreme-diff, but assault mode Wahl has pretty lethal offence, a level that I don't see Mira taking for long.

I'dd conceide that Jacob might have used Stealth in the battle. However, his insta win - Transport - wasn't used. AND he fought with his eyes closed this entire time while battling CQC... That's an incredible nerf. Nah, the fight wasn't even at all.
I could even say that the fact that she didn't have any magic left after the battle - despite using her regular Satan Soul - proves that her stamina is truly mediocre.

I might trash talk Mira a bitt, but to be honest this fight trashed her a lot.

Maybe, or maybe not. Those bots were made pretty easily so I think main Wall could make them. But in this fight I can disregard them, since Wall wins without it just the same.

Yea it was certainly a gag moment haha. But Brandish getting KO'd is probably due to allergies... and she's a bit of a scrub.

It's a pretty valid assumption to say he can, and if he can't, he can just make a proxy.

Might be agreeing with the masses here, but Wahl would win yes.
Even though Mira has got some pretty badass powers, especially with her alegria added to the line up, I don't think she's quite there yet. Feel like she's lacking for someone who - used to be - Erza level. She does have the potential though, but at this point I'm going to say no. Wahl wins.
But, she won't go down with a fight and will put up quite a battle. Maybe she is able to wound him so badly that even though he wins, he isn't really able to fight (properly) anymore.

Did they really fight powerful enemies back to back , in merely after 3 chapters? (she was also tortured)

Even when Mira started the fight it was sort of given that she was already running out of mp and jacob closing his eyes isnt a huge deal like some people make it up to be. erza fought with her 5 senses gone ffs. Sure, jacob had major disadvantage but so did Mira. And also the fact that she used She devil just proves that even the base satan soul which is << Alegria was able to keep up with a spriggan's cqc. and also, mira was in here base till ch 504, this shows that even mira, without using her takeover abilities was able to par with jacob's hand to hand combat. (jacob has a better hand to hand combat than most of the spriggans, u know it.) .
And just like transport , mira didnt use alegria either (both of them may had their reasons) , for all we know alegria might even be able to knock Jacob out before he even gets a chance to use Transport.

But Lessio is a gag character He also closed his eyes when he saw Lucy naked, and Natsu and Lucy both attacked him in that moment. I think there's a difference between a gag character doing ridiculous things and a moment being written purely for the laughs. Cana vs Brandish fits the second one better.
About the proxy, if it was always capable of such an ability, why not use it against Laxus then? I honestly think that the weakness bots are just an ability that are possessed by Wahl's proxy body. His main one is more artillery focused.

Mashima gave Jacob an obvious handicap. Mirajane was tired and hurt but not so much that she couldn't fight properly. Jacob who is clearly inferior to Wahl was god damn blind. Sight is a MASSIVE disadvantage. Worse than losing both your arms I would say. Without any handicaps Jacob beats her high diff and Wahl beats her Mid diff.

Who cares about who casted the spell that damaged Mira? She got shot and her wound was healed, Erza was stabbed and torturded as well, once against Historias and then against Berserkers. She then proceeded to fight a Human Irene, destroy a meteor while her bones were broken, and then defeated Dragon Irene. Mira isn't, like, an exception, everyone is fighting and everyone is struggling and receiving damage. Her exhaustion isn't an excuse as to how she extreme diffed a Spriggan who was fighting with his eyes closed and without using what makes him a threat in the first place.
For all we know? For all we know Alegria doesn't have feats of one shotting a Spriggan before he can clap his hands.
Jacob being one of the best Spriggans in CQC doesn't mean much. He might be better than Irene in CQC, doesn't mean he's any close to her overall.

You seem to assume that Mira was unfavored because she was exhausted, well this only goes to show that her endurance is extremely lackluster compared to others that also fought and received damage. If she couldn't even manage to go into any other TakeOver than Satan Soul, that's a negative point for her in my eyes.

Wahl already analyzed Laxus' weakness(the MBP infection) and instantly began to take advantage. What would be the point of summoning one of those? It would probably just give Laxus the chance to wack him in the face.

We're going a little off topic, so getting back on track, Mira's weakness is her poor stamina. Wahl could easily analyze something like this and go on the defensive until she's drained.

Well Ultear had said while casting Second origin that Mages gather Ethernano from air with the passage of time.And Mira got a whole night to gather her Magic power.I believe she gathered all her Magic power before fighting Jacob.Though her body may have injuries.

Taking all points into considerations i gave the battle mid high to high diff.Maybe giving credit to Mira a bit.
