Oh hey, Miso, I've had that colouring of Gara for a while and had no idea it was yours!! It is one of my absolute favourites! That's cool it's yours!

I'm curious - where did you get it?
I posted it at deviantart and in forums but there you would have known that it was made by me.
Plus I gave it to Shannaro for the 294 release but until now they haven't done it I believe.

Good question mate. It's got Azzrael 2006 written on the bottom, but I only just realised that Miso = Azzrael, so if I did get it from deviantart, I wouldn't have been perceptive enough to realise who it was (believe me!). I collect quality fanart (for personal use, not for reproducing on the web) and I visit so many sites, I really couldn't tell where it came from for sure. Sorry!

All the nice comments so far motived lazy Miso to do some coloring again. So I present you two WIPs:

The Hinata one is a pain in the *** because I just can't get it right. I redid the face 2 times and the clothes 3 times. It's still not perfect and I know it will never be one of my better works but I still hope I can finish it sometimes with a satisfying result.

Vol20 Cover was just too cute so I had to give it a try. I got the raw version from GK.
The work you see here has cost me 6 hours already and I'm still very far from being finished. I'm just too slow. So far I've used 2½ different techniques because I wanted to try something new.
The clothes were made with the messy painted style. This style needs MUCH time.
The face was made with a smudge technique.
The hair and the metal plates are also made with a smudge technique but a different one.
(PS: the background isn't done of course.)

Anyways, enjoy and gimme hints on how to improve the pics.

They look great! I like the Iruka/Naruto one best (can't wait for the background for that one). I'm really bad at giving pointers and tips, as I can't draw or colour to save myself. I only know what I like! All I can think to point out (and it's probably a crap observation) is have you tried to make Hinata's eyes a colour that's not so similar to the background? I dunno...I don't like making suggestions to people who are obviously talented!
