I nominate the Erza/Jellal romantic scene on the beach prior to the Grand Magic Games Arc - that moment was thoroughly satisfying. Erza and Jellal bring out a side in one another that no other person can; they are so cute around each other and they genuinely care a lot about one another, so much so that the feelings they have for one another can be said to be love. Ever since what happened at the end of the Oración Seis Arc I’ve wanted to see the both of them together and Mashima-sensei delivered majorly with this moment.

I also nominate the moment where Gildarts arrives to save his daughter, Cana, from Bluenote. Even though Gildarts wasn't aware that Cana was his daughter at the time, the force called bonds that bind them together still pulled and in that moment he was there to protect his precious daughter.

My final nomination is Ultear using "Last Ages" to create a miracle for humanities fight-back against the dragons. This scene wasn’t just some scene tacked on to the story to prevent the deaths of certain characters, but it was a scene with real depth and meaning behind it that went totally beyond the rewriting of deaths that happened. It fleshed out Ultear's pain and echoed her feelings magnificently.
