I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before but I just realised how strong of a pair these two are. Ochi can use his assassin glare thing at full power which doesn't affect Mouri at all because he is asleep. I can see this being a big part of D1 in the finals

I don't think Mental Assassin affects your partner anyway. The ability is a combination of his intimidating visage (broad shoulders, tall, one eye, wtc...) his calm expressions and the pressure you're already under. He amplifies that and functionally paralyzes you. His partner isn't watching him during the rally and isn't feeling more pressure as a result. It's like Yuki's yips, but we know that Yuki doesn’t accidentally yip his partner or anything.

Plus we learned in Ochi/ Oishi vs Greece, that Ochi actually mentally improves his partner by appearing calm and reliable using the same skills.

So i don't think the scenario will play out in anyway.

But Ochi told Oishi to close his eyes the moment he went all out against Heracles to avoid him getting assassinated. Heracles confirms this in 185.

Iirc, they really claimed they are stronger than Byodoin/Oni in Doubles. Going as far as saying Byo/Oni doesn't understand doubles.

Hot Take: I think Ochi is the best doubles player among Genius 10. While Ohmagari is Second. Ochi is said to be a doubles specialist. But it is close.

Julio/Silva is Spain's Best Doubles Pair by portrayal so far. Let's see how will they do against them.
It is almost a given that Julio/Silva will have their own Howling/Synchro too. Or else, they will be stomped by Ochi/Mouri Synchro.

Second Hot Take: Ochi and Mouri will put Julio/Silva on the edge before the Spanish Pair can achieve their howling.

Isnt it because Oishi is a weakling and have poor mental. And didn't have confidence at all? lol

At least Mouri is confident to the point he is overconfident enough to skip practices because he is so good. Before Ochi humbled him. lol
