Mural Translation

First world.
"Within the earth, there be flame" - There's natural resources for energy within the earth (fossil fuels).

"People succumbed to their greed" - As Jimbei said, people fight over energy, one of the main reasons for war and conflict. This has been an issue since the beginning of time.

"As they seized the forbidden sun, the enslaved wished and prayed, the sun god appeared" - People consolidated this energy for power, and in order to do so, they need slaves and the slaves wished for liberation. The sun god appeared. This verse here is so key because Who's who thinks this was only a recent thing, but this is knowledge that has spanned 1000s of years seemingly which is why Imu needed anyone with this knowledge killed, and Who's who couldn't understand the significant of this knowledge.

"The earth god was furious, and together with the hellflame serpent, enveloped the world in death and darkness" - Imu being the earth god supposedly, and there is apparently another entity called the hellflame serpent... they defeated Nika and the second world unfolds.

Second World.
"Within the nothing, there be breath. The forest god sent forth devils" - Long short, I guess this is when Devil fruis came into existence. Makes sense since even when Shanks and Buggy were apprentices, PEOPLE still didn't know DFs existed, they thought it was a myth. It's not common knowledge despite being around for a 1000 years.

"The sun only aggravated the spread of the fires of war" - As Jimbei said, people always fight for energy. It caused more wars.

"The people of the half-moon had a dream" - The D. clan, probably refers to the Ancient Kingdom.

"The people of the moon had a dream" - The space murals from Enel's journey shows a group of sky people also had a dream. One thing Professor Ohara said was that the Ancient Kingdom were highly advanced, forward thinking people who believed in creating a Utopia where science and development were key, and freedom was an entitlement to all. The ancient kingdom's philosophy opposed that of the WG and the founders. We know 900 years ago the Donquixote family enslaved the Tontattas, so we know slavery has always been huge with these kingdoms that formed the WG.

"People killed the sun and became gods" - The WG was formed after Nika/Joyboy died, and now these founders refer to themselves as gods.

"They all could not meet together anymore." - Seems self explanatory, the battle was lost and the WG have ruled ever since.

Third world.
"Within the chaos, thee be void" - The void century.

"The meddlesome lingering shadows will recall the day of promise" - Entities involved in the war like Zunesha, Sea Kings, Emeth.

"Hearing the voices of the crescent moon" - When Joyboy awoke, these entities reacted. First was Zunesha, she was jubilant. Emeth as well.

"The sun god dances, he laughs" - Nika/Joyboy Luffy is a crackhead.

"He leads towards the world's ends" - Like the current arc of Elbaph mentioned, the appearance of Joyboy ALWAYS marks a change in the times, whether for good or for worse.

"The sun will return, a new morning will arrive. I believe this time, surely, they will all meet together at last" - A prophecy that Joyboy will succeed this time.

Conclusion in Addition to Interpretations
There is also something quite peculiar about the third world, it's the only when where the energy and natural resources aren't mentioned. Ironically, something quite interesting happened during this period as we learned in Egghead; the sea levels rose by 200 meters.

The significance to me is that the sea levels rising means if the energy is in the ground, then no one can access it any longer.
It makes their plan all the more wicked.
For centuries, they've tried to make sure they would always remain in power.

In order to consolidate power, you must be the owner of all the valuable resources, and must control it. It seems the wars made this difficult, but if they all rose to heights unaffected by sinking the world, they'd be able to hold the world to ransom by threatening to destroy more nations and raise the sea levels up further, and more so if they had a monopoly on military assets.
As things are now, if the WG consolidate military power, they can bully the world into compliance whether they know the truth or not.

Ironically, Vegapunk's dream is to find a way to harness energy which he believes is doable, so if the world is able to have access to unlimited energy, it would make the sinking of the world useless. In essence, the energy in the ground which is now covered by at least 200ms worth of would not be needed, and Vegapunk's new idea to harness unlimited energy will allow the world to become on equal standing after the WG have ultimately been defeated.
Furthermore, VP said part of the reason he made the clouds was so that nations could build their countries on this cloud as the world is sinking.

This is my take on the world thing - this is ultimately why the WG are opposed to the world finding out any knowledge about the Void Century. As long as they are on Mariejoa, nations trying to find higher land are far more under threat to the WG. It appears they wanted to confirm this takeover secretly to make it easier, but as people go for the One Piece and also know about the existence of Ancient Weapons, their 900 year + plan will be all for nought.
