Mx0 97: Farewell Seinagi... *hint* *hint* I am guessing it didn't satisfy the taste of teh Nippon... Mangaka should add moar lolis at the next chapter then surely the sales will go up XD

It turns out the idea that the BM0 can be used outside of magic zones turned out to be true. With the relevation that Kuzumi's secret is known by the "higher-ups", I foresee one of two roads: (1) Kuzumi accepts Taki's offer, or (2) Kuzumi refuses the offer, thus is presented with a dilemma.

I find it unlikely that Taki knows Kuzumi acquired the BM0, unless the principle had informed him of Kuzumi's accomplishment. If the mangaka were to go down this route, it's probable that Kuzumi would be confronted with the challenge of completing the BM0 within a set period of time (i.e. three months to complete the remaining nine trials).

It's a shame though if the series is going to prematurely end, which means seeing the process of Kuzumi's journey will not be showcased.

This chapter seemed way out of place. They revealed the fact magic can be used outside of school so easily and without any drama. It was stated so plainly.

BM0's nature as well as it being revealed the teachers and associates knew about BM0 suggested magic could be used outside of magic zones, so it's no surprise such a fact would be stated in such a plain demeanor.

The ending better not be rushed...it would be too bad if a manga that could have been an epic is rushed and ended prematurely.

Reminds me of what happened to Togari'.

The only way I can see Kuzumi switching to a real plate, is if Taki offers him at least a silver plate. Anything less, and he would not be able to keep up with the first years, let alone the interested 3rd years who wish to challenge him.

Who knows, maybe he WILL offer Kuzumi a silver plate? He's proved himself so well so far, he is at least equal to the third years who are themselves going to achieve the black plate, and Kuzumi is already ahead of them in that regards since he has level 1 already.

this seems much too soon since he just got the black M0. he hasn't even had a chance to upgrade it to be able to hold more magic! if he does get a real plate, will it start out at the lowest level (R1)? if so, it would be really hard for him to maintain the guise of having a gold plate. he would only be able to do low-level magic and not much of it. the only way i can think of for him to be able to do more than that (besides getting a high-level plate) would be for his new one to be a black plate, like maybe a black R1 or something similar. since he already passed the test to get a black plate, perhaps his new plate would also be eligible to be black. that way, kuzumi can accept the deal and not have all of the work he put into getting the black M0 be for nothing.

What would be the level of the plate that Taki is offering

1. Red Iron 2. Silver 3. Close to Gold, the plates of third years

And Whether or w/ the black plate coating (lvl 1) or not

And the combination that kuzumi will be likely to accept by the previous 97 chapters are

Black Silver, Simple Gold, and Black Gold.
The reason that he might not choose simple silver is because the wasted efforts to get the black plate coating on his m0, and that a silver plate is not enough to win a match against third years and therefore he will not be able to disguise himself

Well, If I think about it, Taki might not give kuzumi ANOTHER plate... he can just give him enough point on his m0 so that he can upgrade it to A silver or higher (maybe)
otherwise kuzumi prolly will choose to keep the points

ah, there we go. you said what i was thinking in a much more organized way

i guess we'll have to just wait to find out more of the details of this offer. whatever they might be, it's certain that maintaining his image as a gold plate user will be a big factor in kuzumi's choice.

Alright, about 4 more chapters?
So what can kuzumi accomplish next chapter that will drew us near to the end?

1. Go outside as a scholarship student and come back at 3rd grade
2. Taki gives him a gold plate in exchange for something
3. He gets discovered, and presumably expeled, but as acting as a scholarship student and comes back
4. Something else?

I think that's pretty much it.
@1 - I don't think he'll go outside of the school yet, though that'd contribute to his image (Aika/Lucy/Mizuki would miss him )
@2 - Or he might not accept Taki's offer and keep M0 ( unlikely :P )
@3 - That'd be interesting if Kano had a little more time to develop this fully

I'd be really happy if next chapter Kano give us a answer about Kumi x Ise :]

I'm guessing that after the next chapter, we'll end up reading 3 or 4 more epilogue chapters.

Not much to say, seeing that Mx0's ending definitely doesn't sound to be a promising one with the way things are going. With Taki being able to already figure out that Kuzumi doesn't have a Gold plate, there really is no more 'secret identity' effect to surround Kuzumi in and seeing that the essence of the manga revolved around the theme of 'protecting the secret', divulging it to a third party really spoiled all the plot setups. *sigh*

if the mangaka runs true to form, he'll probably end up doing the same stuff he did in pretty face. will probably let the readers decide for themselves what happened within his years of stay in seinagi high (probably implying this and that...like kuzumi obtaining l10 bmo and stuff and aika seeing her mother again through her own merits). geez, why are they so freaking fond of cliffhangers!?

Because if they tied up endings, it would close the chances of sequels or continuations. I'll both hate and love it if this happened. This really blows.

My question is this, would you want Aika or Mizuki to find the truth about Kuzumi before the end of the series or not?

Yeah, aika still don't really feel anything about daimon, but more about kuzumi...or at least, we see more of her leaning toward kuzumi
