I've been a writer for years, inspired by manga and novels from every time period possible, almost. And, from my experience, I've got an idea that I believe could be successfully represented as a manga.
It stars 6 people:
Aristrio: A wolf-like creature with several odd abilities which include extrasensory power and a sort of pseudo-regeneration that has special conditions.
Felix: Noble youth with a common trait: thievery. A kleptomaniac [I believe that's how it's spelled] with a strange taste for money and knives. His abilities are based very loosely on those of Azure Flame Kite.
Grey: Orphan whose rare degenerative disease will kill his soul without a certain specific object, known as the Tome of Erga. To this end, he has become a quack, with a sarcastic sense of humor and a constant urge to inject with his syringe. His abilities include manipulation of the forces within the body, the electric signals the brain gives off.
Ceria: A fortress, a living being created by an ancient warlord, very close in stature and physical being to an ordinary golem. This, will become the headquarters for the greatest force in history, though...not exactly for the common good.
Fleur de Masque: Flashy, flashy nobleman, who is a paid assassin, usually targeting high-ranking men and kings, his prices utterly ridiculous as well. He has managed to elude capture utilizing his abilities, which include something similar to a flash step, and the use of his familiars, which happen to be both insects and parasitic creatures.
Yataka: The man who would come to become the leader, and in personality a shrewd, easily angered man appearing about 25. His leadership skills are extremely great, along with his perception of events to come. This separates his powers, which provide him with an almost impenetrable sight of the future and a magick technique rare to those of his time: Something almost out of a sanctum.
The world is known as Mecia, and its areas are divided into 3 different pieces, each ruled over by different leaders ranging from dictatorial tyrants to monarchs and to democratic elected powers.
