Hello boys and girls, I'm new.
What can I say about myself... I'm a calm dude, often melancholic, I'm 23 but I feel old as hell inside. :lol:lol I love manga and anime as everyone else here. I also love red wine and life. Boy I'm always fascinated about how mysterious life is.
I already love this community because is full of passionate people and that's a good thing.

So yeah, that's all for now. :hee

I can't really pick one in particular but if movies count I say The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

And yeah, red wine is boss.

LOL

No, I didn't know that. The nickname is actually from one of the main characters from my favorite manga: Ibitsu by Kazuto Okada.

Kill la Kill (obviously), Samurai Flamenco, Yozakura Quartet - Hana no Huta -, Coppelion (I might drop it soon tho), Kyousougiga.

Not really my kind of thing, but I found these pretty solid.

What's your favorite manga and/or anime and why?

What genres do you prefer. Do you have a favorite author/director regarding anime/manga?
Outside of this, do you enjoy watching live-action TV shows and movies (of course you do), which one do you like?

Let's see...

I love seinen and ecchi manga, "mature" stuff (if that's of any indication). My favorite mangaka is Kazuto Okada, author of Ittsuuu, Ibitsu and Sundome. His art is peculiar and his stories are just perfect for me.
Anime... I don't have one in particular but Hosoda's movies and Satoshi Kon works are among my favorites. I have also really enjoyed Ga-Rei-Zero lately even if the manga sucks balls.
I gotta say it, I love big time tragedies and I can't really stand pure sci-fi, fantasy, historical or supernatural stuff, but there could be some exceptions (like Ga-Rei-Zero).
The last live action movie I saw is The Hunt, a powerful danish flick with Mads Mikkelsen. I hate TV with all myself.

:pleased

You just ruined this, I know nothing you talk of. :cookiehand

The Hunt was a great movie though.

Hmmm - I'm only watching Samurai Flameco out of the ones you mentioned although I have it on hold after the first episodes.

I'll admit that the first episode is really weak compared to the later ones. I still like it though, I'm not that pretentious. :V
