Hey Ivanus, yes, i'm mostly Filipino, but I was born in the United States. My mom was born in the Philippines, and her family is from Cavite also. She's from the Imusean clan, and part of the Medina, and Quintanilla family. My father was born in the U.S. after World War 2, but both of his parents were from southern Luzon, and are from the Bicolano region of the island. My grandfather on my dad's side, his great granfather was Chinese. Anyways, it's cool that your from the same city, or near the same province my mother's family is from. I haven't been to the Philippines since I was a kid, and I wasn't there for that long, so I don't remember much of it. I have a few photographs from the early 1980's, but that's it. I do plan to visit again some time in the near future, maybe even live there for a while to learn more about modern Filipino culture, and get to know my family better. Well, see you around Ivanus, and make sure to keep practicing your coloring. You're a good colorist as you are now, but I think you could do even better, especially with more practice, and experience. You definetly have a lot of potential though, so keep it up. I'm a bit older than you are so I'm speaking from experience. I've also seen a lot of manga art colorings over the years, so I've seen the best, and the worst. The fact that I think you have the potential to grow more as a manga colorist, is definetly a good thing, so think of it as a compliment. Well, I'll see you around next time Ivanus, and keep up the good work.
