Discussion Naruto vs. Bleach vs. One Piece Poll

Despite the art being uncool, the thing about OP is simplicity, it doesn't take you much to know what they are talking about yet oda is actually incorporating mystery into all that
and the plot is pretty deep and large and it could open up to anything.

It's actually フー 山中,so Fuu/Fū YamanakaI thought it was pretty neat,as it was very ninja-like and straight to the point.Ao's attempt to fight him with words was well done and Fuu's mercilessness and direct actions have shown how Ne-Shinobi work in a good way.

But it wasn't flashy or really cool so to say. Guy going all the way to gate 7 and just pwning Kisame's greatest advantage (which was draining the opponent's chakra) was awesome and kinda of a wtf.

Because it was not strong enough,it's as simple as that...Why doesn't the normal Rasengan take 100 lives?Because it's not strong enough.Kakuzu had three lives and FRS only took two lives because it was only that strong.
It's probably a misunderstanding,as i don't see how one could not figure that out himself....

lolz Then I would feel safe to say the training for the S-Rank FRS jutsu was pointless?
(The normal Rasengan can take 100 lives individually but not at the same time like the wind scar form Inuyasha.)
I would understand if Kakuzu had his fire heart left and the wind type attack didn't work because of the element cycle but I think we should continue this discussion over PM or in another thread.

Naruto Bleach & one Piece art was all mediocre @ the begining of the series. i honestly dont understand how one piece art is so Bad

I would say that art of OP is just.. "unique", its more of a manga/anime style than any other manga there is <at least from those two>; Naruto and Bleach mangakas seem to make they art more "normal", I would say "americanized". Thats why I think it appeals to so many ppl outside Japan unlike OP. <or at least for me its one of the major issues considering art specifically <not talking about story/narration/whatever which isn't art/drawing in general>>

The characters are well drawn Has good backgrounds & good shading Just because its missing that generic anime look don't means its bad & if you compare it now i would Put one Piece above the other 2 because it just looks Better & polished

I still don't get what people like about One Piece.
Even more I lost interest in the general genre of (serious) Shounen further. Even the girls stuff like Shouju is more interesting to me right now as it's less standartised :P So, I rather stick to "specialised" Shounen genre stuff, like Full Metal Panic which is totally focussed on comedy (in the episodes I cared about at least :P) and Seinen.

Frankly put, I lost my sense of taking the attempted seriousness of Shounen easy, so it starts annoying me sometimes. This especially affects my image of One Piece (which can't be taken seriously but doesn't appear funny to me either), while Naruto at least succeeded in beeing serious and touching in some moments. Bleach on the other hand became to dogged as I could still enjoy it. In the beginning it was easier in a way, it didn't appear so serious so it was enjoyable to explore the characters and the universe.

Heh, I have the same feeling, the insane amount of people who love OP more than their own mothers is just odd...I'd go into this more, but I would rather not get 500 "STFU, OP is the BEST, you retard" e-mails...

Please keep you personal feelings at bay. I didn't write about themes or these mangas in general - I was writing about the art of the three mangas. If I'm being ignorant, than you are as well - you didn't read my post carefully and just attack me on sth which I didn't even write. IF you don't see the difference in art structure, than here we have a problem on "trying to being objective" and we have a tard/fanatic of OP. Frankly speaking, even such fans admit that OP has more 'mangasih' art style than other mangas, and here we have "ignorant" exeption.

OP is much better for me. i stopped to read bleach and naruto since age.
For Bleach i think the story is to empty and boring ( Aizen, still Aizen, always Aizen)
For Naruto, its too weird,the author add a new thing every chapter (eyes on the hand, people recuscitate, naruto talking with his father who died age ago etc...)

And tell me where the author of one piece added new thing, devil fruit and the rules are here since the first chapter. He didn't change anything. If Ace back to the life, luffy start to swim etc.... then u can start say one piece is like naruto.

@Coffe Stretching body parts, walking skeleton , all of this are related to paramecia devil fruit. The 3 kinds of devil fruit are explaned at the beginning of the story.And oda following the rules while writing the story. The only weird thing he's added and that going against the rule its BB eating 2 DF, but i still hope we will have a good explanation of this later.
For bleach i know Aizen is gone, but how many years since the fight against Aizen and his army started? i liked the first part of Bleach ( to save ruika), i stopped to read the second part cuz i was bored, i'm planing to read the new part.
I won't go in a battle about witch one is better that's worthless, i accept that everybody have his own opinion and i was just giving mine. And i won't say to someone he's hypocrite cuz he think one piece is boring.

Since, I dont really read OP anymore either, let me pose a question, are they still looking for the One Piece?

And you say that he follows the rules while writing, as others do as well. This is my point in saying "Hypocrites" when people put down some works and unconditionally praise other works when similar things go down in each of them.

You are right about everyone having their own opinion and Im not trying to bash OP right now so please stop getting so worked up, but it just got too silly for me~ Sometimes I feel that I should give it another chance and start reading it again, but I just cant build up the motivation to spend my time doing so~

i didn't say other mangas dont have some rules, i said one piece have some rule so everything there have a good explanation.For me there is no rule in naruto, its unlimited that's why im saying its weird. there is a new thing everytime. putting a eye on the moon( or somethng like that, i stopped naruto there), that won't even surprise me anymore if they say they want to control the sun xD

Having have read One Piece AND Naruto, latter of which I read first, I dunno what exactly to choose. The first part of Naruto was amazing; I loved the first few arcs. Latest arcs are bleh and the second part overall was just trololo in many places. Still can't believe Jiraiya lost to an idiot. <_<

One Piece's earlier arcs, as opposed to Naruto's, weren't as well received (?)... at least not by some people I know. The later arcs were commended though. I honestly think One Piece since the beginning has been consistently good, but this could be due to the humor and Luffy's personality as I tend to like characters that are friend oriented.

I think One Piece would be my favorite since I haven't been upset at any arc yet so far whereas Naruto's arcs have been mediocre in the second part. INCONSISTENT WITH SAKURA'S CHARACTER, YEAH? YEAH.

Ahem. I feel like a traitor to Naruto now.

oWh, come on.. don't say thing like that.. this is not bashing thread.. and actually, more than 80% of post here are well writen of what and why they like a certain manga and what and why they hate other manga. they are not just some rabid fanbase of certain manga that hated other manga.
please give some people here credit of what they deserve. don't just because of one or two hardcore fans, everyone here are all bad..

Nothing can be done to persuade people who detest OP art. It's a subjective thing, and each entitled to their own opinion. However, out of the three OP no doubt has the most detail panels and drawing. For good or bad.

Characters do change in OP. Sanji changed from food throwing brat into feed everyone I can man. Chopper didn't trust human. Luffy changed Robin convincing her to be more honest with herself. Bon Kurei and Mr. 3 changed drastically and played major part in OP story. There are many more, but it'll be too long. So, I have no idea why people say OP characters don't change. Some happened in the past during flashback, but how many times do you want to change in one lifetime? Robin, Bon Kurei and Mr. 3 change on spot actually.

@coffee Yes of course they are still looking for OP. OP = PK = Luffy Goal = End of the line = Final Destination = Crews' goal. So, it's clear its at the end of the journey.

I read OP and Bleach, anyway I choose OP beacuse i don`t think anything can fight with his place.
It has awesome characters, story, and fun is the best from all mangas, adventures are awesome and fun. You won`t find it in any other series, that feeling of being a Straw Hat member...
In Bleach, when I read that manga I feel that it is good, it has "something" that keeps you reading it. Characters are nice, but from like 200 chapters it was bad. No development...But now Bleach is getting better so I recommend it.
I can`t say anything about Naruto. Sorry.
