Done Need a help with this single line

The context: Code Geass, knightmare description. This the first line of the description of the 7th Generation Knightmare. I already romanized the katakana.

Since I'm totally confused with the grammar, I totally translate(?) this with my guts. Now, I wanna know how far I am from the correct translation.

The line in question:
電加合成樹脂を芯にＳＡＫＵＲＡＤＩＴＥ合金繊維で覆った人工筋肉をＡＣＴＵＡＴＯＲに採用。
With electrical synthetic resin at its core, the actuator-employing artificial muscle is overturned using sakuradite alloy fiber.

I'm getting "Uses artificial muscle with electrical synthetic resin core covered with sakuradite alloy fiber in the actuator."

But I'm doubtful about the 電加 part. Doesn't seem to be a word.

I'd like a more authoritative response too.

Ah yeah, I'm actually unsure about 電加 too. Since 電=lightning and 加=increase/addition, I'm guessing it's something like electric-increasing device. I chose "electrical" instead for a reason I forgot T_T.

If you are talking about the electroactive polymer actuator, then 電加　can very well mean 電圧を加えるた or 電圧を印加するした. I think you need to apply a small voltage to have that function work properly. I am no expert on this though.

I've looked around here and there, it seems 電加合成樹脂 refers to electroactive polymers, as mikkih had suggested (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robotics#Actuation). Btw, grammar-wise, is what cmertb got correct? I re-read the original sentence over and over but I'm still confused.

To translate txt with jargons properly, you may want to ask around in Code Geass forums. They don't need to know any Japanese to help you with it. They should be able to tell you about the muscle framing.

OK, here's how I parsed it. I'm not sure it's correct though.

First, the verb of the main clause is missing. I'm pretending that 採用 is 採用する。　　The objects of this verb are marked by を and に. So the main clause is 人工筋肉を <- dir object ＡＣＴＵＡＴＯＲに <- indir object 採用する <- verb. Or, tled, "uses artificial muscle in the actuator".

Then we look at the direct object further. It's not just 人工筋肉, but 電加合成樹脂を芯にＳＡＫＵＲＡＤＩＴＥ合金繊維で覆った人工筋肉. So there are two modifiers here: 電加合成樹脂を芯に = what's in the core, and ＳＡＫＵＲＡＤＩＴＥ合金繊維で覆った = what it's covered with. So we get that the artificial muscle (1) has electrical synthetic resin at its core and (2) is covered with sakuradite alloy fiber.

It seems to me that there's room for a different interpretation (e.g. consider 電加合成樹脂を芯に to be an object of ＳＡＫＵＲＡＤＩＴＥ合金繊維 rather than 人工筋肉), but this one looks to be the most logical to me.

My idea is below:

I guess the author made up the word of 電加合成樹脂.
I was not able to find such a word out of Code Geass.
