The character is painting a football field.

Are you sure you transcribed it correctly? E.g. should ペツカム be ベッカム by any chance? Beckham the soccer player? And might your character be imagining a play involving Beckham?

You should always post the raw to remove doubts about your transcription and to provide the necessary context.

Is sounds like sports commentator's words to me without seeing the raw.
