Question need to learn the etiqette of using raws

Hello! I'm a new member to this site! *waves*

I've been reading pheromomania syndrome by Manga Editors on other sites.. They have finished translating/editing up to vol 2 chap 6.. Although now it appears they have stopped Editing!

So as a fan I really want to continue reading this manga! I'm planning/hoping to find a translator for the series and edit myself and I want to use the raws I found on this site! I don't see any names for me to credit..
Edit : I just found the uploaders names! Magrana and yuko
DO I just credit them for the volumes they uploaded. Do I need to message them somehow?

Sorry If im asking stupid questions >.< I just really want to continue with this manga but dont want to step on anyones toes >.<

Hi Vangirl, welcome to MH!

Firstly, I guess you need to PM them to check whether can you use their raws to scan for the series, and if yes, do remember to credit them later on in your scans. Simple as that. Also, if you are new to translating, just check the MH Academy if you need help or anything. I'm not sure whether A wildful Muse have dropped this series or just slow since they are doing many series too, but all the best for your new project!

From my understanding, the pheromomania syndrome tanks are all open source raws from Winny/Share. Also, because it's been reuploaded so many times, I'm afraid the original scanner's ID had been long lost...

If you have to credit someone, just go ahead and credit the uploader, but instead of "Scanned by xxx", write "Raw Provided by xxx".

I personally try to label the scanner (if possible) for the raws I've uploaded, but sometimes it's just... so hard... since a lot of Japanese scanners who uploads to P2P network tend to wish to remain anonymous.
