Well, normally I piece these things together, but this time I'm totally stumped. Here's the right side of the spread, and here's the left. Opening them up in an editor it's obvious the two are supposed to be viewed together, and while I already know how I would go about it, the background is throwing off my plans a bit. Sure, I could move the window around, but I'm wondering what the author was thinking here. Well, to rephrase that.. I know there are artists who draw half of the spread on one page, half on another, so they don't match up and need a good deal of redrawing to make sense. But in this case, the windows match up perfectly (although not so much after I cropped and rotated them) but the rest of the image doesn't. For instance, the arm cuts off and the sofa is a good deal lower than it should be on one end.
So what would you guys do in this situation? Should I suck it up and redraw anyway? Or should I just place a bar between the images or something similar? Wait, does anyone even do that anymore!? In any case, I'm leaning a little toward the latter, but I'm not really sure what the response would be to this kind of thing. I know I don't mind it, but I can't speak for everyone... Phew, my apologies, that was far longer than I'd intended. OTL
