Well last week was a difficult week, and this week wasn’t much better, but this time I have no need to take a break. Again I have to say last chapter was great and the run of brilliant chapters has just great, especially for the start of the New Year. Well with no further introduction here it is, Naruto chapter 432 Review hope you guys enjoy it.
Last week I was left we a question, a question which has been debated for quite some time. What jutsu was naruto practising in the night away from pa frog? Many people came up with good reasons as to why it couldn’t be FRS, in fact, small hope that jiraiya had taught naruto a jutsu which he was now practising safely in sage mode rather than 9tails mode was begining to grow and could have been quite interesting, again reasons against that were good too. But I’ve always maintained that the jutsu he was practicing was Frs and here it is held again by naruto, but not with foxes eyes, instead held by narutow with frog eyes.
The discussion between naruto and pain was always going to be a strange one. Two students of immense power bound by destiny, and by the same teacher. One could say they were two sides to one coin. Both looking for the peace jiraiya wanted, both under the name of sage, (naruto in sage mode, pain sage of the 6 paths, rikudou) but their ideas of peace couldn’t be any more different. Naruto raised under the eye of the villagers, while Nagato under war. Both with sad childhoods.
Kishi is setting such a brilliant contrast between the two characters, and I could go into more things which contrast and similarities the two characters, once naruto meets nagato that’s when the true battle of destiny begins (I call dibs on that title ^__^). The two facing off reminds me a bit like when naruto and gaara faced off, again naruto’s fighting to defend and protect, and also avenge his master.
Pain talks of peace and jiraiya increases naruto's anger which can be seen in naruto’s eyes... can’t be ignored. The madness in pain’s method is sounds so obvious as naruto shouts out, questioning the near total destruction of his home being an act of peace. I love how pain just dismisses naruto’s statement without remorse telling naruto it’s him who can’t understand true peace, and with that he so simply orders naruto to come quietly too his death. I shook my head, never before have I wanted one guy to get so badly beaten (sasuke during the 8tails fight comes close).
Now before I continue I must say, if I had written a prediction for this chapter I would have said expect a lot of shocked faces with surprised questions. I love how ma thinks pa frog must have taught naruto the frs, to me kishi is plainly telling us a jutsu like FRS is a jutsu on the level of sage power if not more, but one thing I have to say is the surprise from pa and ma when they saw naruto throw the frs is just as intriguing. Chouji, after hearing the name wasn’t impressed when naruto failed to throw the jutsu like the name suggests he should, yet two sages think it should be impossible and don't even think about that even though it's called FRS. The explanation to their surprise is another bit of information I’ll like to talk about.
Below is my opinion in explaining how naruto throwing the frs and the reason why it surprises everyone.
Rasengan is as we know a compacted amount of chakra in a complete sphere, in fact the more compact and the faster the rotation the more powerful the rasengan. So yes it is a dense ball of chakra something that would obviously loose shape if the user stopped retaining and rotating the chakra, so 1 part of everyone surprise is how his high dense jutsu can keep its shape when naruto launches it into the air? This is shown well here http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/340/006-007/ naruto can’t maintain it and when he stops the jutsu simply disappears in the small gap of time naruto releases it before it can hit his opponent http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/340/013/ as stated. So the surprise is well placed.
Also imagine throwing a Frisbee... after you’ve thrown it, the Frisbee is spinning as it flies through the air, (as is the frs) so why mention the quick spinning of the chakra? Well as I see it, when you throw items like a Frisbee, its "still" in your hand before you throw it and in fact only spinning due to the way it’s thrown.
Now imagine being on a spinning wheel, and while spinning on the spinning wheel, you throw the Frisbee, you cannot control the direction of which the Frisbee is spinning in fact it would probably go in the direction of which the spinning wheel is spinning. The frs natural spin (due to rotation) is just like the spinning wheel, so why doesn’t his jutsu just fly away in any random direction?
The answer is simple and all should know…
Yes nature energy.
Now this is only my opinion and shouldn’t be taken as fact but this is my best guess on how naruto used nature’s energy to control and throw the frs. Simply controlling nature’s energy around naruto he uses it as a pressuriser keeping the jutsu’s shape. Anyone wondering what naruto was doing this last chapter http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/431/17/ was it just for show, or maybe powering up?
Well I believe naruto was attracting the natural energy to surround the area between him and pain, full of natural energy for him to manipulate. It could be said he used the extra energy to make his frs more powerful, I say not as the frs was the same size as the frs he used against kakazu, just like the rasengan which destroyed ashura was the same size, as any normal rasengan, difference is the chakra he used was direct from nature sage chakra. I suggest it being part of the same type of energy allows naruto to be able to manipulate the jutsu with the energy surrounding him (becoming 1 with nature). Part of an energy which is indifferent and surrounding all, using this newly gathered nature energy around the area naruto lunches his jutsu somehow using the nature energy around it to help keep its shape and control its direction abit like how naruto punched with just nature energy http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/431/17/.
Then what else could happen once the nature’s energy surrounding the jutsu has been released
It really does look like a spinning wheel now
If you look at the previous page you can see naruto seemingly concentrated on the jutsu as if still in control of what happens to it. As the natural energy no longer holding the rasenshuriken’s shape is released the jutsu can do nothing but expand in all directions both outwards (the wind blades) and the rasengan becoming the size of a human
As you can see next to human pain as he’s cut in half the rasengan has dramatically expanded. In fact it increases to the size of a sage mode giant rasengan. Another reason which could prove naruto was using nature energy to keep the frs shape. Giant rasengan’s are compacted as much as possible by naruto’s sage mode yet it’s still a giant just as compacted as a normal rasengan. So maybe with added nature to help retain the frs shape the size can be made smaller, and as nature energy dissipates or removed from the area it expands to the shape it should have been if naruto hadn’t been compressing it using nature (as wella as surprising your opponent who thinks they just dodged it). The way it expanded is a giveaway too, not becoming a dome like base mode frs does when released, maybe that was naruto only wanting to use it mainly as a cutting jutsu.
Well it did its job cutting human pain in half.

Well after seeing what could be said to be the 100% frs (or maybe just a variant of it) Pain waste no time attacking naruto with a summoning, a perfect time to change scene, and who else but shikimaru and his pa.
Shikimaru after hearing naruto’s fighting wants to get up and help, but after hearing no ones meant to interfere he instantly thinks’ naruto’s acting cool or something like that.
Though naruto is looking, and being (not acting) cool. He’s quickly corrected by his father. It’s quite surprising that his father knows about sage techniques and how it would put naruto on another level. Makes a change from the usual top brass saying how naruto’s stronger than everyone, but 1 thing. How does he know about the effects of sage mode? Well just as the news spread to shikimaru about naruto’s returned, him fighting pain alone and that he's learnt the sage techniques. I guess this scene represents perfectly what’s happening all other the remaining parts of konoha. It will do wonders for naruto's rep xD.
If naruto succeeds he will be a hero to everyone in konoha
Well after a nice cut to the fall out of konoha we are back to the fight, and the dog summoning splits and continues to fight. That’s why it didn’t go poof with the rhino in last chapter. While the frogs deal with it pa and ma create a plan to cut the rinnengan connection, aka stopping the shared vision. While they do that, pain has realised something quite subtle but so important. In the last chapter naruto did this http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/431/06/ Both stopping and throwing away the Rhino (lol it still makes me laugh), but when it came to this attack he dodges. As we see in the following panels naruto no longer has the energy to waste on stunts like that and by avoiding the attack, Pain also realises that naruto running out energy due to the FRS.
So Naruto running out of time, and from the info he’s gained while fighting, animal pain is the most troublesome especially if he runs out of sage mode, so while he can he plans to take out one more pain body... animal pain.
AHHHHHH man naruto is stalking his prey. After ma blocks off pains vision, without warning for animal pain gamabunta eats both naruto and animal pain. It seems like naruto maybe hitting and beating her physically in the dark from what I can tell, but those eyes are just scary.
After seeing this, there’s no doubt in my mind that naruto can do not just 1 normal rasengan without a clone, but 2. Naruto's not leaving no chance, if 1 rasengan highly damages you, then 2 definitly kills, how ironic 2 balls on gamabunta’s tongue is shown in the scene naruto ends animal pain with 2 rasengan. Another thing which suggest he did them himself is the angle of the rasengan in the previous page. They are formed with his arms out right but animal pain is in front of him so no place for the clones to be, also the chakra of the rasengan’s creation would be enough to alert animal pain of naruto’s location so not only did naruto create the rasengans alone he had to have created them quite quickly.
I’m loving the scene with Gamabunta puffing out smok obviously from naruto’s attack, it just made me laugh.

That’s the count down as gama spits out both naruto and animal pain, (animal pain’s second death lol), but maybe gama should have left naruto in his mouth to gather more natural energy as he emerges back, to normal, and completely drained and tired state. Pain himself though down 4 bodies doesn’t look intimidated or worried. Seeing naruto no longer using sage mode is good enough for him.
Deva pain and Hell pain, not really the pains you should leave alive, especially when you’re out of energy. Kakashi couldn’t defeat deva pain alone and though naruto’s with the frogs I can’t see naruto defeating deva pain without being in sage mode. What a way to end the chapter, again leaving kishi leaving his options open, nobody can get bored now, naruto will have to show some true skill and tactics as he avoids getting defeated while he’s in his base mode.
I love these latest chapters and I have no complaints about any of them
I know people will be disappointed with only rasengan being used at the moment but hey, it’s a great technique which only naruto’s been able to take that far.
Prediction
Obviously I see deva pain gaining his abilities back, and with that pulling naruto towards him. Also with only 2 pains remaining Deva’s powers should be a lot stronger than before, pretty much near the power levels of the shinra tensei which took out a large chunk of konoha. I believe we’ll also see a bit more from hell pain ability wise.
After nearly dying naruto will smile realising its now or never, gathering nature energy while moving… Whatever idea he comes up with I’m sure it will be a clone.
I’m against naruto relying on 9tails chakra to finish this battle and I don’t think kishi would do all this if in the end naruto would resort back to the power he chose directly not to use.
