Hey, I’m back for another review and damn never knew Kishi could continue such a run of great chapters. I found myself rereading the whole fight from when naruto first returned (though the chapters leading up were just as good) until now, and it’s just… well the only word which probably doesn’t even comes close to describing it, is awesome. Well that’s enough from me, its time for the review so with no further introduction (yep I’m loving that phrase), here it is... my Naruto 433 Chapter review. Hope you guys enjoy the read.
Well it had to happen sometime, while naruto was in sage mode Pain pretty much found himself becoming a punching bag for naruto. Lol Pain’s charging comment “Now’s my chance” says it all. Though tired naruto doesn’t seem to be panicking, in fact he reveals his limit in sage mode to be only 2 able to use frs, saying he’s got 4 more frs attacks left was a big hint that he would be re-entering sage mode. I guess this wasn’t the right time to tell ma that naruto can’t fuse with the two to enter sage mode? So with that then question I had last week, how would naruto enter sage mode again after loosing it with his last attack?
Well at least I did, and it came to the last clue we had a few months back, looking left while looking right… Well with that pa reveals that naruto will show us his new invention to become a sage on the move. With that said Naruto takes his scroll off his back and I can easily see that he plans on revealing its use. But before he does so Gamabunta fails in his attempt to slow down the soon approaching deva pain.
One thing I must say, naruto’s recovery after using sage mode was quite remarkable. On the first page naruto was drenched in sweat and looking close to passing out, he now seems back to his normal state even after using frs as well as a few (well I say a few) rasengans, he's now even running back to try use his scroll, but deva pain’s a bit too quick.
With Deva pain being directly in front of naruto, it leaves our hero with no choice but to give the scroll to pa frog. Now looking at naruto’s face, does that look like a ninja who had just used arguably the strongest Wind jutsu ever as well as lunching a few rasengans big and small ones as well as chucking about a rhino?
So as we can see above another good thing about sage mode is that even when naruto runs out of sage charkra it doesn’t seem to affect his base mode levels (so if he does run out and pain still standing not a major major problem). Who would have thought of it though, gamabunta being told to stand back by naruto because it was too dangerous. I’m loving this new maturity and his new found taijutsu skills trading blow for blow against a continually attack deva pain, though revealing your plans as you did wasn’t such a great thing to do.
So the mystery of the scroll is finally answered, ah well its not a scroll full of jiriaya’s old jutsu’s but in fact a self summoning scroll targeted to summon naruto... well his kage bunshin’s anyways. I wonder whose idea that was, the idea doesn’t seem too far off a jutsu naruto’s father was famous for. I wonder though couldn’t naruto carry a smaller scroll considering it’s only used to reverse summon naruto’s clones, it could turn out to be a problem when your enemy figures out the importance, especially when that opponent is pain.
With the 2 clones meditating in Frog MT it’s clear to see naruto can enter sage mode 1 more time after pa reverse summoned his first clone. So it's explained Naruto after entering sage mode created 2 clones (splitting his overall chakra by 3) and went to go fight pain. Now what’s really impressive is that naruto could launch 2 giant rasengans 1 double rasengan... etc and control an frs with only a 3rd of his full sage chakra capabilities. Though this is a great way to re-enter sage mode if naruto could actually do it without the need of clones he would truly have a high amount of sage chakra to launch as many frs as he liked. I also wonder, was naruto’s time in sage mode cut short from 5mins to whatever due to creating kage bunshin’s. as we knows it split’s chakra? Or maybe I’m just over thinking this completely, using 1000s of clones hasn’t tired out the clone master, so why would 2 more?
I also like to comment on sage chakra being transferred back to naruto. I guess kishi has had this whole thing planned all the way back from when kakashi started training naruto with kage bunshin, though I already predicted kage bunshin’s would be used it makes it a lot easier to accept that the clones can transfer the sage chakra back into naruto. But no matter the way he re-entered sage mode its just lucky he did it when he did, hey if he didn’t he would have been left without the use of an arm and his chakra being messed up ta boot. Though that would have been bad it's not as bad as a direct kick from naruto to the face after seeing what a missed punch did to hungry pain. I’m still surprised that deva managed to block the attack in time. But it wasn’t enough, leaving him defenceless as the oncoming frs almost hit’s it’s target.
Hey talk about a close call, pain was about to get beheaded. Now I for one was glad to see this hungry vs frs face off, I really wanted to see if this pain could even absorb the ultimate sage enhanced wind jutsu and it seems he can. This of course leaving naruto shocked and talking to himself hehe. But this naruto doesn’t get worried too much, in fact he quickly figures out how this guy was brought back from the dead after a fatal missed punch. Seeing deva so defenceless after all the damage he’s caused to naruto and konoha just made me glad. I’m sure I’m not the only one ^_^. Big problem is with hell pain bringing back those bodies from the dead (again considering they are already dead), it would mean naruto would have to start over.
I’m still maintaining naruto has the best doujutsu of all! Rinnengan can’t see natural energy, frog eyes can, no one but the person being killed by hell’s pain summoning could see the creature from hell, yet with sage eyes naruto see’s it clearly, he can even use his sage powers to predict movements, his newly found doujutsu makes life a whole lot easier (and if your wondering I know frog eyes aren’t real doujutsu lol). Naruto analysing pain’s previous formation realising that he kept deva and hell back and deducing that hell is the important one and deva must be weakened, bringing him to the quick conclusion just shows how far naruto's grown.
Just awesome, using a rasengan as well as smoke bombs to completely hide himself away from the rinnengan’s all seeing eyes. Then henging himself into the frs, and throwing himself at hungry pain knowing he’ll be unable to absorb him, tackling him, then launching another frs at deva pain. Now I’ve been a campaigner for more jutsu for naruto, but when he’s using his own basic but deadly arsenal to the extent he’s using against pain, and without any preparation (for that moment) well I can’t complain too much.
If it wasn’t for deva pains powers returning I think that would have been match over. These are the tactics I’ve wanted to see from naruto, just reminds me of the early naruto guy who could use basic jutsu’s to the greatest of effects. Far beyond the tactics of mixing himself up with the clones (kakazu fight) in fact. But though the expanded rasengan probably would have killed both deva and hell pain, what would have happened to the naruto (who I believe just killed hungry pain again)? Well I'll talk about that in the next section. So with deva pain’s power returned and naruto down 2 frs he’s only got 1 sage clone time limit left before it could be all over.
Now I honestly have to say I have no clue which is the real naruto. Before naruto unleashed his string of his attacks completely off putting pain. We saw 3 naruto's 2 clones 1 real.
2 are now in plain sight, 1 who’s on top of hell and one who’s on top of hunger pain with the other in the smoke. Now I could assume the naruto on top of hungry pain is the real one, but what if naruto transformed back to normal clone state before he reached the absorption area of hungry pain, and simply tricked him into thinking no point in absorbing as that’s the real naruto. Then we got the naruto who’s on hell it could be real (as we've only see the real naruto use the double rasengan), though it isn’t impossible that it's another clone after seeing clones previously holding giant rasengans.
So the real naruto could have crushed hungry pains head, or crushed hell or still hiding in the smoke. Now I say he's still hiding in the smoke because if naruto did just use the second frs before deva pain destroyed it, if I was naruto I wouldn’t want to place myself so close to the pain bodies if I was going to use a frs jutsu that expands (could kill naruto) or if it failed naruto would be left a sitting duck, lying down at the feet of deva pain isn’t too smart in itself. Now I’m used to seeing kage bunshin tricks working on the enemy but fooling the reader too well that’s something else. The real naruto could be in 3 different locations. Deva’s Comment of "what" sums up everything, I bet deidara didn’t tell him about this side of naruto’s skill.
Man I’m loving all these chapters and with next week in colour I’m sure we will have another stunning chapter, just great.
Prediction
Well this fight is coming to a close, but I have to believe a full powered deva pain (one who could wipe out an entire village) is going to put up a hell of a fight for naruto, how naruto will exploit the 5seconds gap well that will be interesting to see but will naruto be able to summon another clone if pain takes naruto’s scroll away.
