Discussion New Ds in Wano!

Hey guys I made this thread so we can explore who might carry the D initial in Wano amd why. If giants can have it, so can walled off samurais. I'll start.

Yasu and Toko.
They are ALWAYS FUCKING LAUGHING and smiling. Just in a great mood all the time despite their situations that they might be in. Now Yasu is about to get executed. Betchu he will grin before his supposed death like...a D. If he is a D, it is very likely Toko have inherited that same name. She works very hard too for a kid.

Orochi.
This one may be farfetched buuuut Ds are the catalyst of great change. He may seem like a running gag or a joke but I am sure Oda is doing this for a reason. Probably to surprise us that this imbecile of a leader who has subordinates that talk shady shit behind his back is actually a very cunning person. I mean come on he has the hydra fruit lol, that shit better not just be for show even though he looks silly. I used to only read Naruto and not One Piece. Why? I thought the art was silly for the main character. But now I know. Luffy is awesome and One Piece is a work of Manga with literally no parallel. So I have this feeling that Orochi has this potential to be a big fucking D. Hahahahabahahahaha. I mean cmon guys. He is a an asshole with huge smelly dramatic emotions.

So who else do you guys think might be a D from wano?

Good question. Wano in general seems to have particularly deep ties to the ancient past which the tenryubito want hidden. Meaning that it really should be a breeding ground for Ds.

I suppose yasu is a candidate though I don't expect him to be.

Orochi seems too cowardly to be a D.

Its also possible Ds will show up but in a different manner than they do outside wano. We are talking about 800 years of isolation... Maybe Ds changed how they showed up over time.

Blackbeard is pretty cowardly. He just overrides it with ambition, which is very similar to Orochi's modus operandi. I'm personally pretty sure that Yasu and Orochi are brothers too, so on the off chance Yasu is a D. it's not a stretch that Orochi is too.

Yasu only started laughing after Oden died. Kanjiro said that he was a pretty strict dude so he didn't smile like this before. It doesn't automatically negate him from being a D, but I am saying it isn't a reason for him to be a D.

Also BB being a D, I believe that he is part of a D clan that betrayed the ancient kingdom. I mean there should always be betrayal for a strong kingdom like the ancient kingdom to fall.

Personally I would like to see little Ds as possible. It's like CoC, too many users and it gets boring. Only significant characters should have that name from now on. Like Oden.

Blackbeard, ho, as mentioned above. But Blackbeard plans to change the world or some shit, whereas Orochi doesn't seem to have that kind of a lofty goal.

Yasu or his daughter could be Ds though, even if he didn't start laughing until way later. I mean, he's laughing at death, which we've seen Ds do, or at least not fear death, except for Blackbeard. Kyoshiro feels like a member of D as well.

I agree... we don't need that many more coc users and Ds so if there is one, there should only be one in Wano. Or two if it is Yasu and his daughter. I like Kyoshiro as a character and he has a pretty excessive design and that's pretty cool but idk about him being a D. He doesn't smile enough lol. Ds are always laughing and grinning. Blackbeard does it, that giant that was friends with the oharans did it, and so does Garp. I do not really remember Kyoshiro grinning much. He's pretty serious. Oh that's right. The giant's name was Saul D Jaguar or something. I guess Yasu did only started laughing like a maniac after Oden died. I forgot about that. Damn lol. I've seen Orochi grin more than Kyoshiro. As well as cry more too lol.

There is a reason why we see Ds in various places of importance around the seas. It shows that they were diverse, spread out so to speak. So even if the mainland falls, they got future sleeper agents and one will be the ultimate champion of their will, whatever that may be. Finding Ds everywhere means they were probably once very common people all over the place before or during the void century. Now they are rare but you should be able to find at least one in Wano if you follow the same formula. I forgot the probability but lets just say 1 out of 1 million people will have CoC...if the One Pieceverse has 100 million people, 100 persons will have this ability at any given time, some may not have control of it yet like Luffy pre timeskip but definitely 100 people will have it. I think it is feasible for the OPverse to have at least 100 million people. I mean it is hard to think about. 100 CoC users. That's quite a few but not if they are spread out. Obviously, I think this is the same for Ds. At least one has to be in Wano. I wonder how many Ds Luffy can rally around him as allies in all the seas that he travels.

Blackbeard and/or his lineage are the traitor Ds, unless Blackbeard was the first in his family to be a different type of D. I'm willing to bet there were traitor Ds, and we might see more shitty Ds.

Don't think there are Ds in Wano. Wano is based on feudal Japan so adding a foreign concept of D to it would make the names of the residents sound a bit off, if mixed with "D". D isn't even a sound that naturally occurs in Japanese language.

Here are a few random Japanese names with an added D:

Sakai D Daichi
Wakayama D Ken
Yamada D Kiyoshi

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but sounds off. So far not a single 'Japanese name'-ish D character if I remember correctly.

It's possible though, especially if Wano is in some or any way associated with the Ancient Kingdom (which I bet it is because of the Poneglyphs). Given its isolation, some Ds may have hidden in Wano for safety.

I generally feel the same way about things like Ds and CoC, but we're in an isolated country that's directly tied to the Void Century, one of the only links to the D clan's origin we know of. If there were any arc to shine a light on that mystery, it'd be now.

I've grown to accept that there'll be more CoC users as the story gets closer and closer to its endgame. Just like the sudden explosion of DF from South Blue to Paradise, there's an explosion of powerful haki users compared from Paradise to the New World. It's only natural for the Conquerors to all slowly be drawn to the same prize.
