We stopped them before we scored the TD, yes. But they scored on 5 of their 8 possessions.

Tucker doesn't help much on the first possession since you need to get into the Endzone to end the game.

But I still feel like I'd rather lose in OT than this...

I suppose it would have been pretty on brand if Harbaugh went for it in OT instead of kicking a field goal on 4th down..

Not going to fault him for going for it all. But if your going to go for 2 in that situation you have to have reason to think you'll succeed then and there or reason to mistrust your defense. Despite the fact that the Ravens are practically pulling people off the street they were performing well at the point in time. And I just didn't see it there. I would have liked to see them get the chance.

Just a regular reminder that Michael Vick remains a monstrous piece of shit regardless of him being accepted in the media's eyes these days.

Oh and Tony Dungy supported him right out of prison, but thought drafting/signing a gay player would be "too much of a distraction". Fuck you Gollum.

As someone has taken care of rescue dogs pretty much all my life, let it go. The man did a truly horrible thing more than 10 years ago, went to prison and has since lobbied against the animal abuse. But if we don't have it in us to forgive people for mistakes they've made What does that say about us?

Not saying to forget that it happened, his past won't change, but what is the point in holding onto those kind of grudges?

Let it go for what? I'm not sitting around stewing about him being out of prison. I know he did his time. I just don't believe a normal, compassionate person is capable of doing what he did. I'd like to know how he would have handled the aftermath if he wasn't able to secure an NFL check straight out of prison. Something tells me it wouldn't be the same. But hey, I don't know him or what's in his heart.

The point is holding grudges against people who physically abuse animals for entertainment. Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't really see that as lacking any validity.

I mean, it's your time and emotions so do what you like but I say let go on judging the man guilty for the totality of his life for something he did at one point in it. Like you said, you don't know what's in his heart. I don't either. Lot of times animal cruelty doesn't come from a place of malice so much as the inability to empathize with dogs, cats, or other animals. They just don't understand. Pigs are almost a smart as dogs are, some say more so. Swine farmers just don't think about it.

Personally, I prefer to hate the action and reserve judgement on the person unless I actually know them.

Looking at stats can only get you so far since it's a popularity contest, but I'd say Allen's stats are definitely worse than they were last season when he was a reserve player. If you want to look for any logic there, I guess.

Classy team and organization in Cincinnati. Going for it on 4th and long when you're winning the game by 17 points against a defense with 13 healthy players. They must be really terrified of Josh Johnson.

I hate this Raven's Bengals game. One of my least favorite games in a while.

To be honest it just doesn't feel legitimate. I mean, it's impressive how well the Ravens have managed to play considering their injury and covid situation but are we all supposed to pretend this is the actual Ravens team on the field. Because it's not. It's the Bengals VS the replacements. How many CBs have the Ravens lost total on the year? It feels like a dozen. Then there are the RBs, the QBs, the O-line. How has football come to this?

How many starters are actually even on the field for them right now?

From the beginning of the year? I'm not even sure. On defense we have Chuck Clark, Tyus Bowser, and Patrick Queen. On Offense we only have 2 OL that have started every game, everyone playing RB has been off the street. Andrews at TE. Our WR corp is probably the healthiest position group at this point. Third string QB.

They can do whatever they want, it's not their fault we can't stop them. I would just expect the coaching staff to want to protect Burrow instead of risking his knees getting taken out by some 5th-stringer who was bagging groceries last week.

Oh they shit on us earlier in the season too. But the game was close at halftime iirc, and you could blame running the score up because Jackson was still playing then.

Losing 5 straight and still having a chance as long as the Jaguars somehow beat the Colts, it happens, and yet we still couldn't get things done. Not like it matters to me honestly, they weren't doing anything in the playoffs anyway.
