“If light magic doesn’t work on fairies” is a pretty irresponsible justification is it not? More or less equivalent of questioning wether darkness works. It is a staple power of their clans that especially work on each other. They are not rendered useless if used on another. Not to mention their own innate Magic’s.
Elizabeth should take this. They are both predominantly heavy magical fighters and Elizabeth's magic should be superior in power to Gloxinia's.
Mael used light magic on King and there was no resistance or difficulty in causing moderate injury to the Fairy King. This should be generalised to the rest of the Goddess Clan, meaning Elizabeth can easily injure Gloxinia with her magic.
Elizabeth's magic is much more powerful than Gloxinia's - she should win this pretty easily in my opinion.
