Last week's poll was on why Karias wanted out of Lukedonia so badly. The vast majority thought that Lukedonia is boring. Poor guy should take up knitting or something.
Now onto the review!
This week begins with the 4th Elder Roctis sitting in chair still absorbing the startling news that Raizel is alive and the 6th and 7th Elders are dead. Until the 9th Elder arrives and interrupts his contemplations. The 9th Elder tries to reassure Roctis that even though the Noblesse is alive he can't be what he once was, and especially not after expending the power necessarily to kill the 6th and 7th Elders. Roctis doesn't dispute this but says that Raizel's existence alone is enough to make them all afraid. The 9th tells him that "He will make preparations for the worst case." whatever that means.
Their conversation is interrupted by the arrival of another person. A young girl with dark hair named Ignes who is evidently Roctis' daughter. She cheerfully greets the 9th Elder and her father and notices her fathers anxiety and asks him about it but he says it's nothing. The 9th and her then begin to discuss an experiment that he feels they are ready to try and she follows him away enthusiastically, leaving Roctis to his silent contemplations.
Back at the casa de Frankenstien. Rael witnesses Seira and Regis preparing a meal for the first time and is horrified that nobles would cook for humans. Rajak apologizes to Raizel for his brothers outburst and Raizel trys to placate Rael by saying what a good cook Seira is, somewhat missing the point of Rael's concerns.
A little later they bring the food to the hospital for the Shin Woo and the gang who gush over how luxurious Seira has made their hospital eating habits, as Raizel stare at a banana seeming somewhat puzzled. Then they notice Rael standing a little off to the side looking angry and the kids talk loudly about how he's good looking but a has a bit of "mean vibe" and ask who he is. Regis explains, very simply, that he's Seira's suitor. They are all stunned and look and him and he shoots a glare back. So they all look away and change the subject to wondering what Tao, Takeo, and M-21 are doing.
The answer proves to be that Frankenstein has them rapidly repairing the school day and night for extra pay, in the hopes of keeping the damage to the school secret. Which motivates Tao in an enormous way. The other two are less enthusiastic until Tao tells them that he will also be able to afford the materials for a special toy gun and nail file for them and they they dive in with matching enthusiasm.
Substance
Roctis has a daughter named Ignes. That's pretty much the only big takeaway from this week's chapter. She also seems to be at the very least dabbling in the kind of human modification sciences that the 9th Elder does judging by how familiar those two were with one another. Since we never got a look at her eyes, specifically whether or not they were red, it's impossible to say if she's a full blood noble but it seems likely she would be. No sign of her age either.
There really isn't much else to say. Rael and Rajak seem to be sticking around for now and the fact that the school is being quickly repaired by the Tao Takeo and M-21 would indicate that Raizel intends to resume his school life for at least a while yet.
Presentation
Artistically things were about the same as they have been. Low detail with a few ugly panels here and there. The only thing that stood out to me as particularly well drawn was the 9th Elder's face(oddly). It didn't hurt this chapter much though because it was mostly lighthearted "everyday life" scenes, which don't really need much detail anyway.
As for pacing. It was slow but the kind of slow that is more typical of arc wrap ups with a little sprinkle of interesting information, Roctis's daughter, and a large helping of more lighthearted stuff while time in the series moves forward. It's not riveting stuff but it's not really bad either.
Final Rating
This was a more typical Noblesse story arc transition. This chapter was meant pass some time and used slice of life comedy do it smoothly. The chapter itself was pretty average.
I give it a 3 out of 5

Chapter Summary
Considering the scale of the damage to the city, having a place be rubble free might just make it stand out MORE.

Predictions Section
New Prediction
- Rael is going to end up attending school. (I hate it, but it's gonna happen)
Old Predictions: (25 Wins/ 33 Losses)
- Rael will lose his next battle to the RK-4.
- I think Lee Youn-In is going to be more than just a soon-to-be-forgotten sub-character. I suspect she may have a role in the plot.
- Raizel will name Shin Woo his successor; resulting in him inheriting the title and power of the Noblesse.
- The female operative from the Union will eventually end up on Raizel's side, like M-21 and the others.
- Raizel will ultimately choose to use himself up completely in order to help his friends.
- The Union was originally created by the Traitorous Nobles.
- M-21 and Yontsu. I think it's going to happen, even if I have no idea how.
- At some point the Lady Werewolf will turn on the Union.
