Hello Baby is a new story by Morita Masanori and Obata Takeshi, and it's particularly twisted. It is part of the new monthly Jump S.Q. magazine. Check it out here at the RTS..

=========================================================

Created this thread because I love this chapter!!! It's just so bitterly sweet! Even though its only a one-shot. Anyway, what exactly is the ending? Can anyone confirm? Or maybe talk about Morita Masanori's or Obata's previous works here too.:amuse

p.s. please put spoiler tag for spoilers

Re: Hello Baby by Morita Masonori & Obata Takashi - Discussion

The ending...
Isn't Kin dead and Taku and Aya having their son without problems?
I suppose those yakuza have nothing to do with Taku and Aya, they only wanted to kill Kin.

I think there's nothing more than that :P

I seriously feel sad for Kin... poor...

Read this just now, unfathomably amazing. I hope they don't make a series out of it, just do something completely different by that tag team and leave this story just as it was b/c this was just too good.

I don't know what was in the Edited Manga, but I think you're referring to what Kinya is saying...

That is, he didn't want his child to have a murderer for a father. Later, Takuzou also says he didn't want to make his child the child of a murderer (i.e. don't make me shoot you because I don't want the child to be the child of a murderer).

*ahem*

~Pic courtesy of Kirimi~

Bumping this up with another of Obata Takashi's one shot - Urooboe Uroboros which appeared in WSJ. Well, this is a collaboration between Obata and Nishio Ishin (the same group that brought you Death note novel).

You can check out the raw here and discuss away. :p

Obata and his one shots, he needs to work on a continuation project instead!

I rather read his oneshots than chapters of crap like Blue Dragon.

Re: Obata Takashi's One Shots - Discussion

I can't believe she cheated on Kin for Taku

it was rather sad at the end

Hello baby is incredible though

Kin kinda looked like Mikami, one of the fat dudes maids looked like Misa, and aya looks like a female Mat..

well that's my opinion

I wonder how they know whose the father. Did Taku do her before Kin or what...~

remember Obata never does any of the stories. He may contribute but stories is never originally his so it was Tsuneo Takano fault it sucked >_>

Oh, I know.

But he's partially at fault.

He's the one accepting to be the artist for these series.

I don't know what was in the Edited Manga, but I think you're referring to what Kinya is saying...

I liked this one, and I translated it to my language.

are you sure, that the child was not Kin's?
