So, no Wano Arc next year.
So, no Wano Arc next year.

I think Marco changes it all.Perhaps it even makes sense the strawhats need more time to face kaido. Realistically speaking the strawhat's forces are insufficient to defeat kaido. Just the main strawhat crew, their grand fleet, jinbe, the mink, the heart pirates... It's but a drop in an ocean. Granted it is not a negligible force either but to actually match kaido's crew they need greater forces. Even now we have seen that luffy comes short even big mom's first and third man (katakuri and cracker). And sure, luffy will be stronger by the next arc or two but we are still talking about a freaking yonko. The basic yonko crew so far has a main crew consisting of, well, a yonko and then about 10 strong members. The top three of the main crewmembers seem to be people at least capable of holding their ground against admirals though perhaps fall just short of matching them. And the ones beneath them seem to still be insanely strong. Perospero was at 700 mil. In turn we have tamago, a mere fighter, at over 400 mil. It's not a stretch that a yonko's main crew would start at about 500 mil...
Of course, it all depends on how oda plays this out. Realistically speaking the world government gathered 3 admirals, their best VAs, 10000 elite soldiers and the shichibukai to take on WB. And of course a couple other big names. And even then they needed the homefield advantage to pull it off. Luffy of course probably won't be able to gather a force as massive as that to confront kaido however he still needs a massive force to deal with him. Specially if he is not even strong enough to take on a yonko's top 3. And even if luffy was that strong, he still needs AT LEAST two more people capable of a similar feat. Zoro would seem to fall short of such a gargantuan feat... Sanji, well, lol. Jinbe doesn't appear to be THAT strong. Maybe if he is underwater though. Franky had trouble with senor pink and he is presumably the fourth strongest. It'd be interesting if luffy gets the vinsmokes to join him. Originally judge wanted big mom's support to be able to continue his own plans. Perhaps in seeing luffy's potential he will see an opportunity to get a yonko's flag over his ship soon.
Ah, marco joining the effort would indeed be a game changer. It depends on whether the WB crew has disbanded or they still function as a much smaller crew though.I think Marco changes it all.
Well to be more precise i would say if Marco , Jozu , Vista and the remaining WB commanders come in then leaving aside Kaido himself all the others can be brought down.
>>Luffy , Law, X drake, Hawkins, Kidd vs Kaido [I think that x-drake might change sides and that flashback of him in dressrosa and him being shown after DD got defeated was a foreshadow]
>> Marco vs king calamity
>> Jozu vs Queen calamity
>> 2 Dukes + Vista vs Jack
>> Rest of WB commanders vs Rest of Kaido commanders
>> Zoro vs Shogun of wano [I would like to see him fight more than 1 opponent]
>> Jinbei and Sanji can be given one Kaido commander each.
>> Rest of SH pirates , Heart pirates, rebellion samurais , Minks vs Shogun's forces samurais and Beast pirate allies.
1) I think since WB crew is in NW , therefore they definitely know that they need to be together to be safer. There were thousands in WB crew so even if just 15 top members managed to stay together then one can still say that WB crew got disbanded and yet all of these 15 together can get allied and be a game changer.Ah, marco joining the effort would indeed be a game changer. I also doubt vista would need help against jack though. I mean, I can't say he would necessarily win however he is someone that should be perfectly capable of holding his ground here. Adding help should be overkill. The WB commanders would be a MASSIVE force. With it luffy would have the capacity to match kaido commander for commander. I doubt oda is planning on giving the strawhats THAT much. They absolutely need more allies but that is basically a cheat code. Marco was at a point considered a yonko contender... The guy is a monster.
I think the big issue here is that when it comes to kaido the strawhats won't face the entirety of kaido's might. It won't be a conflict as in marineford where WB showed up with 14 commanders, 1600 crewmembers and then 50 something allied crews. The most likely scenario IMO is that the wano arc will show the strawhat grand fleet vs essentially kaido's main crew and perhaps several other allies. Then we will see the grand fleet chip away at kaido's immense strength commander by commander until kaido himself falls. Of course, this will still be a gargantuan effort that will require at least more miracles and luck than we have seen in the current big mom arc. I am sure marco will eventually show up and he will perhaps ally himself to luffy however I don't see his presence as necessary for luffy to actually defeat kaido. Kaido is already going to be a coordinated effort and odds are very few people are going to get individual fights against kaido's commanders.1) I think since WB crew is in NW , therefore they definitely know that they need to be together to be safer. 2) I know it looks like a cheat code but otherwise there is no way the current allaince can take on so many commanders + Kaido himself.
I dont think anyone below Sanji can take on a commander.
Plus just read it somewhere that oda had mentioned it previously that Wano will be bigger than MF. So including all WB commanders helps the case.
