Thank you for all you do!

http://bgr.com/2017/08/23/graphene-rubber-bands-research-science/

New to me, unsure if it's new to this forum. But ODA SENSEI!!! Please read!
Luffy has so much potential! This was after gear fourth was published. Stronger awakened Luffy please!

Edit: I realize its not rubber itself, but graphene intertwined with rubber to make it stronger than steel. Just posted this not out of seriousness but out of love for Luffy's potential. Happy Holidays everybody!

Well, luffy is just only rubber, so the chances of his body becoming as strong as steel without coA is close to nil.

Speaking of how he can possibly advance his body, there's one idea I have though.

He fought cracker whose biscuit soldiers are formed very compact, kinda like they were compressed, to make it very really hard.
He's also fighting katakuri whose square mochi seems like they were very much packed (with mochi) and compressed.

So, I was thinking, is it possible for luffy to somehow compress his rubber skin to add hardness, I really don't know if it's possible, but if it is, he'll be looking really thin than he usually is, but harder.

Cracker used hard biscuit, it'll be a game changer if luffy uses hard rubber.

You mean compress his entire gear fourth body?

I am not terribly sure there would be a benefit to luffy compressing his body. Barring cartoon logic of course that would only make luffy smaller since he can't generate rubber anymore than I can (not for a lack of trying). What luffy could compress for instance is the air inside his body. So he could have all the air he uses for gear 3 or 4 within him but retain his normal size. Would there be a benefit to that? no idea whatsoever.

Well, now that I've thought about it, it's a crazy idea that isn't feasible in base form or gear3, though he does the exact same thing in gear4, like how he compresses his fists before landing a Kong gun, I was thinking he can achieve same thing (somewhat) while in base form without having to pump air into his body.
