What are the odds of these guy being capricorn? How he remains in the human world would be a mystery although it would be interesting if the stellar spirit mage behind him is actually hidden or something.

I'd say it's pretty possible. When I was thinking of Capricorn I suddenly thought of the Mountain Goat. Mountain goat are known for strength and for kicking. Capricorn being a fighter type spirit isn't that far of a stretch. Also Loki is able to summon himself to earth on his own. What if Capricorn could do the same? That or one of the members of Grimoire Hearts is also a summoner. Very Possible theory. Grimoire Hearts seems to be one of the main antagonist. I doubt they'd be defeated this early on. So I'd say that if he is indeed Capricorn, Lucy won't be able to obtain him to MUCH later say a lot closer to the conclusion of the entire manga. That would be better for IMO.

Right now i would prefer to see Lucy training herself [in flashbacks] so that her spirits are stronger . Right now , she just uses them with brute force w/o using her head while to me Celestrial Spirit magic is more of a tactical based one

I agree she needs to get stronger, if only to be able to fight on her own. I'm not sure how well tactics would work considering she's limited to which stellar spirit she can call on what days. So coming up with tactics could be hard if you happen to be fighting on a day where only 1 spirit is available.

I really don't think being a fish (though technically Pisces is a pair of fish) matters... since Aries the Ram, Leo the Lion, and Scorpio the Scorpion are people and not animals either. Maybe Pisces will be a trap expert?

Lucy is not that limited to stellar spirits though. She has the water whip nowadays. If I recall, he beat that giant octopus on her own without much help from her spirits.

Yes, that is why I said she needs to get stronger to fight on her own. Meaning without help from her spirits. Although speaking of whips, how does Lucy know how to use a whip anyway? That doesn't seem like something a 'Lady' would be taught how to do. I don't really see her father allowing anyone to teach her how to fight with a whip. And why a whip of all things? Also why did Virgo say the Fleuve d'étoiles of Eridanus belongs to Lucy specifically? If it's from the spirit world shouldn't there be some sort of procedure to obtain it?

Lucy has had the whip from day one. I guess it is a form of fan service though(even if she is very good at it) since it is not lady like. I think the whip was a gift, the result of the care she gives to the spirits and the desire of the spirits to protect her. The whip itself does not consume her own magic and it is a powerful weapon. What I am not sure if it that is the actual spirit of the river constelation thing or rather something which belongs to the spirit.

Maybe I wasn't too clear with my previous post, so I'll try again. Okay, Lucy has had a whip since the beginning, I was wondering how she knew how to use whips since it didn't seem like something she would have learned living at home. And why a whip? Maybe it belonged to her mom?

Then in chapter 184 Virgo gives Lucy the Fleuve d'étoiles saying it belongs to Lucy. But since she doesn't have Eridanus yet, how does it belong to her? Did the Constellation give it to her? Or is it the constellation itself? If so, how was it decided that Lucy would get it and not some other person.

I have never really thought of how exactly lucy learned how to use a whip nor it has been adressed by the manga. Not even sure if that would be relevant lol. I guess it would be interesting if there is a backstory to the whole thing other than it being simpler than a sword lol. As for eridanus, I have the same questions as you. Not sure on whether it is the actual eridanus spirit or just an artifact that belongs to it. As for why she specifically got it, it was an act of kindness from her spirits, a gift from them so that she could fight without wasting ridiculous amounts of magics with each summoning. I would guess her spirits either asked to constellation to become Lucy's spirit or they asked the constellation to give her something to protect herself.

I think Meldy could be a Stellar Mage. I mean, When she was introduced on the manga, there was lot of people behind her, they could be some kind of stellar spirit that can multiply itself, and when Grimoire Heart appears on this page http://mangastream.com/read/fairy_tail/52511650/17

It is an interesting theory but that in itself would not explain caprico's own seemingly personal commitment to the guild. It would explain a bit of her lack of confidence as a main member of the oracion 6 though. It could even be a parallel to lucy who is generally more powerful than what she credits herself.

btw, you can't forget that Lucy was the stellar mage with the weakest look in all fairy tail manga/anime, I mean, Angel was so far badass, so I don't think that it's like saying they can't fight for themself. They are just summoners, their magic are stronger then their physical attacks, but it doesn't mean they are weak.

I find it highly amusing how most if not all stellar spirit mages so far have been women. It's like saying they can't fight for themself.

I think of it as more, the people who had stellar spirits so far don't like to be actively involve and rather stand back instead of joining the fight. And so far most of the male mages so far seem to love fighting, which could be why we've seen more female stellar spirit mages.

That's Duke Everlue. Speaking of him, he was a stellar spirit mage but he could also use a diving magic of his own.

I wonder if Lucy one day discovers that she has a magic of her own.

The Archive guy on blue pegasus trio "installed" a magic on her on Nirvanna Arc. And she has already used a Unison magic with LLuvia (that seemed very powerful) on Gerard Arc.
And so she has the stellar river whip, that can count for magic too.

Well, the stellar spirits are lucy's magic as much as DS is natsu's magic. At least that is what the manga has shown. The strength of the spirits is actually dependent on the amount of magic lucy has, that has been said and implied a number of times. In that sense, what the spirits are capable of is strictly up to lucy. Lucy's water whip does not actually consume magic though, it is a gift from her spirits to her in order to protect her. Her capacity to use the whip should still depend on her ability to use it though.

Hello! I've had this thought on my mind for quite a long time now. It's about HOROLOGIUM The Clock. I know that Lucy only uses this spirit as a convenient ride but I also think that there's a possibility where Horologium can control time. Maybe there would be an arc where Lucy would have to control time using him. I don't know. What do you think?

I think this should be kinda random. You have to keep on mind that Horologium is a silver key spirit, so it is weaker than gold ones.
