However, I do like the idea that she is a fallen Goddess, but I wonder if that would encroach on Elizabeth's potential role. Plus, if she is a fallen Goddess, I'd think she'd have a healing ability of some sorts seeing as how the Goddess clan seem to specialize in those things. Then again, that might explain the roundabout answer she gave to Hawk when they discussed healing Elizabeth. She put so much focus on the Druids ability to heal, but took away attention from Elizabeth's healing ability.

Well if she is fallen I wouldn't exactly be surprised if her power to heal was somehow impaired in the process, and instead she goes to overkill lengths of offensive magic. One thing though is while she claims to not having any capability of healing magic what we have seen so far is that she is nonetheless knowledgeable about healing, be it from potions or as she joked(?) around with the captain used demonic magic to heal the king - which is questionable since demonic magic at least hasn't been shown to have healing properties so she achieved healing him is a mystery.

Regardless, her magic stat is unusually high and at the very least it does seem the sins are composed of major clans but we know so far that only magically inclined clan is the fairy clan, but she clearly is not one.

Her age itself being a mystery rather than a secret is another important thing since... she is potentially older than many of the members, including King who is the 2nd eldest. That being the case she could very well be as old as Melodias. It would also make somewhat more sense as to why he would fear her in so much that he knows what she is capable of from the Holy war. There is also the suspicion about her in so much that in the Red Hawks translation she became rather emotional or unnerved upon hearing the Ten Commandments, she appears aware of them whether by research or actual experience I'm not sure at this point now since her age is blotted out.

yeah i had the same idea. Ban is still human, he's just immortal thanks to the fountain.
Escanor being human, but with some kind of curse or some other thing would explain his profile.

and i can definitely see Merlin being a fallen goddess or something. Might explain why 80% of the male characters are so thirsty around her

Actually, Ban seems to be listed as "formerly human". That's curious. Like, Nakaba could've just written down immortal but it's more vague than that.

I wonder if the book has a good map of Britannia. We know only so much about where everything is located and how far from each other.

We don't even know where the Capital is, but we know just how far Zhuhur Valley (150 miles) and Edinburgh (186 miles) castle are from the Capital.

The anime has a map of all the places visited by the end of chapter 100. Zhuhur Valley would be either right next to, or inside, that forested area to the west of Edinburgh.

I've seen this map, but I'm having a hard time deciphering the names lol. Plus, it doesn't really look similar to the map we've seen in the earlier chapters.

The names are spelt oddly, in some "ye olde English" font.

Also, the earlier chapters got retconed. Originally, the map seen when Ban and Mel discuss where to go next, after they had just gotten out of Baste/Dalmary, showed The Kingdom to be on the southern edge of Brittan, however, as of recent chapters, we know its in the northern part because Mel says the 10 commandments awoke to the east, and directly east of the Commandments was Edinburgh hill.

It seems to be a retcon the anime makers were aware of before it was officially put into the manga in a visible form, like how the anime always showed the new sacred treasures of Ban and Escanor, Ban's 4-section staff, and Escanors huge axe, rather the rapier and spear Ban and Escanor had in the original manga chapters.

The change apparently happened sometime around when they introduced Arthur, as they claimed he came from the south, and described Camelot as being to the south, which would have been impossible as Liones WAS the southern most part of Britain in previous chapters.

Also, here's a version of the map with all the places labeled, and with the path the Sins took through the manga in blue. the Capital of the Dead would be under the letter B or R in Britannia.

Ok, there is something bugging me. Nakaba once said fairies live an average of 1000 to 1500 years, and King is 1300. Yet I get the feeling that he still will live for a very long time unless he gets killed. And I dont just mean because of how he looks. He also seems to be a 'special' kind of fairy. And something tells me that Nakaba just made up that lifespan on the spot, or wont bring it up again. Anyone else?

Maybe he has a longer lifespan because he is the King? It doesn't look like any of the Sins will die soon, Immortal, Demon, Doll and Merlin who is the same since 10 years etc. It was hinted than Demons live for 3000 years and Mel is 3000+ though it might be because he is an hybrid.

It could be either. 200 years, while probably not long in the scale of this series, is still a pretty long time. I agree that he is a special kind of fairy, but I actually wouldn't be surprised if King's age played a role in his own story. Him being a special fairy could play a role in it his age as well.

At this point it could be anything. A disguise. A power limiter. A curse. Maybe they hadn't grown out yet, or maybe they never will. Either way, the topic made him uncomfortable/embarrased, but he was willing to tell what happened, so it's not something overly secretive... Unless King himself doesn't know what happened to his wings.

Also, the age thing prolly applies to the normal, citizen fairies. The little guys. Maybe their age depends on their power.

Hendrickson must be straight or bi, he is looking for a girlfriend in the Ep 18 anime preview . Don't know if it should b considered canon but he was envious of Dreyfus because he had a family, something must have really changed him...
