But yeah lots of "ecchi" questions, which isn't that different from other mangas like OP for example. The most interesting bit is of course Baltra figuring out who to recruit thanks to "Vision".

I think Baltra's vision was what lead Meliodas to go hunting for the sins individually. I'm sure he didn't look for Ban and say he should follow him on a whim. And it sure wasn't pure coincidence that he ran into Diane somewhere. I like how Nakaba seems to have a purpose for everything that's happened in the manga currently.

With Diane it could have been a coincidence, since Ban was recruited after being imprisoned, and King met Meliodas long ago, but had to spend around 180 years in prison before becoming a sin.

But he didn't die even though he didn't have his ability. Hendrickson could be considered a cheater since his powers clearly come from the demon blood, and Acid is a druid technique. There was hardly no reason for him to use it against Arthur since he didn't want to kill him apparently and it wouldn't have been the wisest thing to do either. Plus Arthur is just 16. We don't even know if the weapon he's using is Excalibur, but if he gets it and he unlocks his ability he will be at the sins level, and I can only see him continue to grow till one day he surpasses them.

How is any of what you described "cheating"?

Looking at the description of the fanbook, it says that it will feature the complete introduction of a popular character (you know who) and the 10 commandments.It will also feature the full script of Vampires of Edinburgh (86 pages). Along with 3 official spinoff stories....as well as an interview of Suzuki while he's drunk whose theme I think is Nanatsu no Taizai divination.

Woot, a second fanbook. I was waiting for it pretty much since the first one came out.
I'll order it when the time comes and dump some infos here once I get it.

About Vampires of Edinburgh, it will be a different version, much like the first chapter of the series in the first fanbook. 86 pages, compared to about 100 pages for the actual trilogy.

This is pretty exciting, though. It'll be nice to learn more about the commandments, especially Mera and Galan, since they got killed off so soon.

I bet info on Merlin comes with the third fanbook when the goddess clan is finally a part of this manga XD

Maybe we will get some official numbers on the Balor levels of all the Commandments (and Escanor). Would be good.

Nope gonna have to wait for the 3rd fanbook for that. It's been over a year since the 1st one and we still don't know anything about Merlin her age, race or innate magic.

Technically, it is implied that Merlin is over 3000 years old (based on what we know, she created the eye of Balor, and we know Balor is Dolor), unless you mean the exact age.

I'm quite interested in seeing what's in the second Fanbook. It would be sweet if Nakaba were to tell us about the Commandments and their powers/abilities.

It will be published August 17 so three chapters will be released before it's out. If it contains mainly information about Escanor and the Commandments I doubt we'll learn much about Merlin's abilities, unless she becomes suddenly much more relevant in the upcoming chapters. Maybe he'll reveal all the Commandments and their effects. I would like to know more about the Demon race in general too, and I suppose we will see Escanor at his peak soon.

We'll probably get some information on the Pleiades, Denzel's magic perhaps. Just the titles of the Ten Commandments would be good, though. Not the effects of the decrees, but simply their names - Derrierie of/the <Buttocks> or something.

Yes I know it's 99% that Merlin is over 3000 years old and a fallen goddess as well. But actual confirmation would be nice.

By the way, 罪約聖書 means "Sinful Testament" and is derived from 旧約聖書 (Old Testament) and 新約聖書 (New Testament). Especially the latter since 罪 is here pronounced as shin (for "sin"), not the usual zai and 新 is pronounced as shin as well.
