Judging by the name, it could be anything which spans a large scope of... anything. It is likely related to knowledge, since that's her wish, and magic derives from one's spirit, mentality, wishes.
As for Gowther, we'll have to see. Nakaba could very well go with the stepbrother option.

Beliaruin's confirmation of being the goddess realm/in the goddess' realm would be pretty interesting, to say the least.

I'd say my dream of Escanor's sin is actually more realistic than the pairing i what him to get involved in (It's not Escalin).
But, never the less it seems to me that there is no concrete way of knowing what Nakaba intends for Merlin's ability quite yet, but,it will likely arise as a plot point later on. Gowther's role is still unusual as well though and i'd love to know when we can find out about his sin.

Basically, on his way back from beating the commandments Escanor's gonna look down and blow up that statue and Merlin's gonna be super happy and then they will finally have a heart to heart.
I'm assuming that 'Infinity' may allude to storing information and with her not looking for information on spells and such she has never bothered in learning them?
Or it could be that this magic is very powerful, but, it has traumatic memories written all over it and thus she rarely uses it?
As for the Gowther lover thing, usually Gowther was supposed to be Merlin's step brother or something along those lines, so i would not be too surprised if Nakaba did that. Especially with regards to having Gowther's backstory basically flushed out and Merlin's is likely to be next.
Watch Escanor's be 10 times worse than everyone else's and he be guilty of committing the deed.

Ps: What if the location that Merlin was born at is referred to in like 10 chapters from now and it happens to be in the goddess clan's realm???

Btw they messed up the part about escys weakness. It ain't his noon self, they should've changed it to extreme thirst if you know what I mean

Merlin is as unpredictable as the wind, but, that's why she's an interesting character, because we know next to nothing about her... or at least we did. With the fanbook making things a little more apparent, it's easier to know about her

There should be no doubt in my mind that Galan, Scylla, Dolor, Glox, Estarossa and Fraudrin should all have that, if it's added in here

There are just too damn many similarities between those two. Their somewhat tragic upbringing as estranged or exiled aristocrats. Their similar hair colour. The whole gold theme. Their inability to properly gain control over their powers. The cat-stuff. Friendship with Merlin.

Now this. Arthur isn't also the natural born son of Uther Pendragon in this series. I wouldn't even be surprised if a potential alliance in the future between their two kingdoms originates from a possible relation between those two. I would love to have Escanor sort of be a mentor to Arthur, too.

Meh, they just met Escanor. I think we'll get some names we don't know for some of them. Estarossa's may be Meliodas, and Zeldris' may be Estarossa or the Demon King, I guess.

Well , Merlin is supposedly considered Arthur's maternal figure for the series and i'm pretty sure Uther pendragon is dead cause the commandments took Camelot. So Escanor = mentor/paternal figure could be cool to see. Then Escalin kicks off and they have a son called Gawain XD

True, but, in that regard... the only thing that makes King's ability more unique is the fact that he is the king. If he were a standard fairy, he would likely have the same magic as Elaine. But, then again Helebram did use magic similar to him with the use of his swords floating around and what not.
But, i suppose he is mostly unique because of Chastifol, which means that Gideon's special ability is likely to give Diane somewhat of a special ability.

Ps: Speaking of sacred treasures, i bet Escanor's is gonna change form. I only say this, because in his profile it is listed he wants to control his power... which, to me, screams power up or full control over Sunshine which makes Rhitta's charge and fire useless. Meaning, it might change form to suit Escanor better... or perhaps it will return to the form it used to be??? (This is just a guess tbh)

Depends on how you look at it. I personally like that not all the Sins are the same that way. Diane still has the largest scale type of magic among all the Sins even without any power-up yet. My take on it is that she will greatly improve her Creation by learning and eventually surpassing Dolor's dance, which should give her great synergy with the earth and all surrounding life.

Wow,lot of cool info revealed. I like how escanor powerlevel is unmeasurable. NNot surprised about meliodas stats,kinda expected it to be like that. It's interesting that merlin and escanor have the same regret.
Finally,merlin's magic is revealed,Infinity. Just what could it be??? I hope it's a very interesting magic ability. Now all that's left is the ten commandments entry and that person merlin confessed she loved better be escanor .

Fair point, but, i suppose that is because among all the abilities that each clan possesses that are unique and shared by all the members of said clan, the giant clan's creation is by far the strongest and most useful. Diane's ability to manipulate the earth can easily increase over time and training, but, without having a special ability of her own that makes her magic far more focused on the ability she has.

Like, if you've watched Avatar the Last Airbender or the Korra series, Creation kinda works somewhat similar to Earth Bending, at least movement-wise. So yeah, who wouldn't love two giants going full warrior dance capoeira style while dismantling and reassembling entire landscapes? Fuck yeah, I don't need no secondary abilitlies, all I need is more Creationnnn

Dolor has a special ability,so it's very possible for diane to awaken one in the future

Hm, what if Balor's eye doesn't refer so much to an object as it does to a secondary ability after all? I mean, it originates from Dolor's foresight and power-reading actually, so that may be what Diane learns eventually, too.

For Diane as a character, i don't think Balor's eye would be good... mainly because of what it allows someone to do. Besides, out of the sins, Gowther has already been loaded with one of them, so to have 2 sins with the eye would not make much sense to me... (+Hawk has an artificial one) though, i get what you mean with it being a secondary ability.
Maybe, Diane's special ability should be being IMPERVIOUS TO MEMORY LOSS!!!!!!!!!!
