Need some help in how to translate this line:

Spoiler

何故神は比べられない尊いものばかり天秤にかけるんだ

I was thinking, "Why did God make such a precious imbalance in life"? I'm almost sure that's wrong though.

[The Vapour]

何故 why
神は god
比べられない incomparable
尊い precious
もの thing(s)
ばかり always/only
天秤に scale
かける hang on (old Japanese scale use hooks, instead of plates)
んだ (inflexion which correspond with "Naze" why)

Why does God always put incomparablly precious thing on scale.
