I don't see why that'd be an issue. The framing around conqueror hake is that it is powered by your own sense of self. How does not hitting women affect his sense of self? This is about sanjis identity, his convictions, his will, him being unwavering against overwhelming, impossible odds. At least as i understand this this doesn't have anything to do with morals or politics. We know this because multiple other cladding users are outright evil on top of vile and they are able to use conqueror haki. If a conqueror would rather die than hit a woman then a conqueror will die. Sanji needs to deal with whatever it is that is getting in the way of his sense of self, with whatever is causing him to waver. It could be his training with the okamas, it could be his genetic modifications, it could be his family.

I’m going to be annoyed if Sanji has been putting in effort against this scrub, and has managed to pick up injuries. I’m tired of the false narrative of equal, when he hasn’t given us that portrayal seriously since Pre-TS….The wings suffer from their best utilizations..They both need what each other has…Zoro needs characterization like Sanji. Sanji needs stand out feats & portrayals.

The whole ACoC with Zoro, is contrived. It’s a way to level out the wings of the pirate king. Ok, kool, these power ups were ass. Sanji shouldn’t be struggling. I honestly would appreciate more a dialogue of Sanji, finding his true self & awakening. Than Zoro remembering conversations chapters later to now apply that knowledge

When thinking about what could be going on it's hard to no go back to his training at okama island but the most likely scenario is that when sanji deals with whatever it is that is holding him back he'll simply assert who he is rather than change completely. As in, extra sanji.

Federico, I don't know if you meant to be so absolute, but there ARE ways to begin to deal with GKs.
1. The dismember and keep body parts seperate strategy. Perfectly reasonable. Needed Imu to come save Killingham. Smart pirates would then throw the parts into the ocean.
2. The Luffy balloon strategy of throwing them so far away they despawn, like in Egghead.
3. The freezing strategy like Loki did. Maybe Brook could apply it given he can freeze Numbers.


If we look at people with Devil Fruit powers that are best suited to fighting GKs.
1. Law-> Law can take anyone's heart, and the Gks love being hit and not dodging. Shambles would also hard incapacitate.
2. Kuma-> The moment Kuma sends them flying, it's over.


My point is there were many ways to write dealing with the GK by just either taking advantage of the regen's weakness, or the summoning weakness. With Vegapunk there, there would have been even more clever ways that could have been written, if Oda really needed to.

i think..Sanji's inners problems were that.. he never trust himself and what he can do...not at 100%..it always was a spine on him,, and thats what's is stopping his supreme Haki ...wakeup.. a true CONQUEROR..cant have such doubts..

I think that's too far. Shanks has been shown as humble in some ways through the series and yet he has been a cladding user for decades.

doflamingo was a conqueror haki user but to our knowledge he never achieved cladding. So he isn't too relevant to the discussion I think.

cladding? you mean what zoro did to his sword? Supreme Haki cladding... not just Armor haki ?

IT is know he had Haoshoku -- Conquerors Haki --- but not at the level he could rip a GK APART.. like Zoro's have now... thats for sure

You can have the qualities... but not the skills to pull it off -- Zoro try outs proof that.. he always had Haoshoku - but never properly use it- and now he can not only use it.. if not at the max level.. Cladding the swords on it..

im pretty sure at this stage..he definitly can do more than just slow down the regen..

He's intentionally lowering the hardness of his armament haki because he is afraid to hurt her fist. It's not something he does unconsciously, apparently.

My hope is a devil fruit was left and Sanji gets it. Helps close the Zoro gap and break away from Jinbe. We already might be getting hints in unlocks CoC this arc or next. This is interesting she comes up because the Imu tie in. Plus their holy land is the Levely grounds. Sanji's ties to this are his kingdom were Levely invites plus Vivi's family was rescued in large part due to Sanji's cunning.

May it be a devil fruit that Sanji eats. Plus Zoro already has Enma and is likely getting legendary swords and black blades. Since Sanji's Haki won't surpass Luffy, the best that can be done to keep things consistent is a devil fruit. Then eventually awakened devil fruit with ACoC. Plus there's the Yamato situation that's a fast track to keeping consistency. He would really become the ultimate weapon Judge envisioned and doing it without losing his humanity.

I think humble is not the correct to describe Shanks. I mean he wants to find the One Piece and is willing to fight everything that is in his way (Kidd for example). That makes him a very ambitious person. At the same time he's a very kind person, especially to abused, weak and exploited people. But kindness doesn't say anything about his ambition or will it's just the way how he interacts with other people. Being humble assumes a lack of will or ambition. He is not humble at all.

What is holding Sanji back is not his philosophy on women, very much doubt that, what's holding him back is his inability to accept himself for what he is. Even in Wano, he said "Which me do you want, the soldier or the human?" in response to how to best serve Luffy, he rejects his lineage of being Germa which whether he hates it or not, he has to accept who he is, but be better than them - you're not the sin of your ancestors or family, you can choose to be better.
He probably needs to accept himself with all his flaws and be proud of himself regardless of his heritage.

Have been saying this for a while, Sanji's inability to accept himself is what has been holding him back. Glad it seems confirmed, but need to wait for the actual chapter.
