The bottom line? If you get the Japanese Shounen Jump (like me) it'll be out on October 4 (or later in America T_T). If you read Edited Mangas it'll be out by September 29, hopefully.

XD If you're reading the Edited Mangas, look forwards to a 9/29 release. There's a countdown for you guys on the first page now.

It may be a silly question, but then again I AM silly.
Since we are getting the chapter before it actually comes out in Japan, does this mean we are not having a new chapter next week?

No, we still get a new chapter each week, unless there is a break. The basics are like this, Shounen Jump, the magazine, comes out in Japan every Monday. Due to wonderful people, 2ch, and less than legal means, spoilers and raws are leaked to Edited Manga groups ahead of time. As a result, we are able to get Edited Mangas on the Wednesday or Thursday beforehand. Just think of it as different release dates.

We get the chapter on Wednesday or Thursday and Japan gets it (legally) 5 days later on Monday.

EDIT: And because it has to be said, depending on where you live.

Alright, now to officially end this thread.

ONE PIECE Edited MangaS ARE NOW RELEASED ON CERTAIN SITES. Most manga hosting sites such as mangastream and mangareader will have heavy traffic so there is no guarantee you will be able to read OP there. It will, however, probably recede by tomorrow, or you can download the chapter directly from the Edited Manga sites. Either way, happy OP return day~!
