I doubt a seastone bullet would have the right effect against a DF user. From what I understand prolonged exposure is what ensures that someone stays weak against the sea stone if they have DF power.

Once the bullet passes through them, it would really mess them up internally but they would still have their strength.

no. it would only pass through Logia DF users which were 6 last time I checked. all others would most likely have the bullet stick somewhere in their body (these are no hi-tec weapons with high speed bullets meant to shock more than to hurt...) so it would have that prolonged effect you are talking about: no transformation, no use of DF, no resistance.
but again I really think seastone is too worthy to be used as a disposable good.

I think a sea stone bullet would be more effective than a normal bullet against a DF user, I can not say for logia users (but I think they could effect BB)... but paramecia and zoan, thinking back to when Luffy and Smoker where held in that cage made from sea stone material which gave the same effect as the sea, they both couldn't do anything and their power was decreasing, OK that is a cage. Smoker had a club which had its end made of sea stone and just by placing it on top of Luffy he was unable to move, it emits energy the same kind the sea does so a bullet lodged in your body would be bad news to put it gently.

But if they made seastone bullets, other people could gather the bullets of the missed shots, and start using them against WG (not to fire them of course, but the effect they have would still stand even after beeing crushed on a wall and that could be used against WG) ...
I think its a bad idea to create a sea stone weapon that gets out of the reach of the marine using it...
Of course someone could take the club smoker had, but not as ease as random bullets that got stuck in walls after missing theire targets

But that's only IF the bullet stays lodged. Luffy for example, can bounce bullets back (iron bullets, we don't have armor piercers in this day and age of One Piece) so really it doesn't do any good.

A club or cage is a lot better for what is needed.

I Dont like that idea very much... its possible but very unlikely, cause All blue is like a mith, nobody can be sure it even exists... If it was the Sea of seastones, at least a few marines (probably many) know about it

Actually, the bullets fired by Don Kreig did hurt Luffy. So, a seastone bullet of that kind would have a devastrating effect on Luffy...and most DF users.

I'm talking about regular standard issue bullets without pointed tips. Which can't hurt Luffy.

seastone drains DF powers --> no bouncing back for Luffy. that's a rubber DF ability and it would be useles, thus it would badly hurt him and, as he normally throws them back, dumbfound him.

It is explained in the link above. About seastones, maybe vegapunk is able to extract the substance mentioned and coat other materials(eg nets, cage, weapons, etc) with it, making them harder and also effective against DF users. This would explain how they able to make such objects since seastones are suppose to be as hard as diamond and so difficult to cut. This would also explain why only marines get access to large amount of seastones.

but then again - if it is in all those clouds... why can Luffy run on the island clouds but not swim in the sea cloud? weird.

also the seastone might make Vegapunk able to extract the devil from the fruit and insert it into an object, but I think I read that somewhere before...

Thx... nice find, but that only explains how they can walk/sail on clouds... the substance thats mixed with the water vapour (pyrobloin) isnt what Wappa used on Eneru.... He actualy said "Seastone" (Kairouseki)...
So we still dont know how he got some of that...

About the Vegapunk thing, i agree with you!! thats a real possibility

Even so , imo Luffi can run on the clouds because they are not covering his body.... its like he is "walking on water"! If he could do that on the normal sea, he wouldnt loose his powers also, right?!? It would be like walking on ice...

About Waippa's seastone, maybe the knock up stream blew up a ship containing it(Enel may have obtained the electric DF in the same way).
Also the part about Ussop playing with the pyrobloin makes me think that he may be using it later(for his inventions) since many of his lies have become true.

Alright...

If it drains him for a second then no bounce back and it passes through. It slows him down but without a fatal hit, a DF user could
A) regain their DF powers and heal
B) Get the wind knocked out of them then get up and fight or
C) become weak and stay down.

For Luffy vs seastone bullet:
If the bullet was a special Armor piercer (Like Don Krieg's) those pierce rubber. That is established. He'd go down anyway.

If it's a lead bullet, they don't because of his rubber body. IF a seastone was fired on him, my point is this:
It would pass through him, leaving him weakened, he could still fight because he is only exposed to the bullet for .2 seconds. That does not stop his fighting capabilities.

Now I don't know the structure of seastone. It may be brittle if used as a projectile, but I still believe it's better for cages and staffs, NOT for firing into DF users for unknown effects.

I doubt that every pistol has the firepower of a Magnum.... If it hits somebody it will in most cases stay in their bodys canceling their powers, so they an be arrested.

Hm but it would still miss Alvida, as no object can acutally touch her.^^

I think we can all agree that Oda is bright enough to have thought of this and i think if he thought it a good idea than it would have been included by now yes? and since Oda's word is the first and last law of one piece...
also the debate is pointless until oda decides to speak on the subject cause as of now we do not have enough info to come to a conclusion we can only guess. and so since people will naturally think differently on the subject we are just going to go around without getting anywhere.

and i think the subject is boring any way so lets move on to something else dunno what
