Going to a lower floor in Impel Down is easy. No prisoner want to go to a lower floor. Hard will be to escape... that will take lot's of chapters. Something like fighting the CP9?

I would have to assume that the 4 demon guards don't include the Chief warden or the Vice Chief warden. That is just an assumption though.

The fight on level 4 will have:

1) Magellan
2) Hannibal
3) Sadi-chan *
4) The Koala *
5) the person in shadows (looks familiar somehow) *
6) Miscellaneous other nobody guards and prisoners.
7) Expect 1 surprise at least, probably on the last page.

Man! I feel so cheated about Minotauros! Lol!! Just like Oda to create what looks like a powerful, ominous, evil being in the shadows, only to turn it into a ridiculous creature in the light. Watch out though, I think he is doing the exact opposite to Magellan. He started out ridiculous and is steadily getting more and more dangerous.

Isn't that why we all love Oda and OP? He's done it countless times (my most recent memory takes me back to Duval), and he's done it splendidly every time! Can't wait to see the "execution" that Magellan will carry out...

I can't wait until level 5. And no, not because of Ace or Jimbei. But ever since he's been mentioned again, I just keep wondering how will Crocodile fit into all this?

Quite honestly, I'm more excited about the possibility Crocodile has a second chance at glory along with other silver medalists than Ace escaping. After all, Crocodile is still my favourite villain thus far (though I do like Blackbeard, he hasn't really played out against the Strawhat's to be awesome enough yet).

Actually, it is not the first time that idea is mentioned. But it is not very logic... Whitebeard is there only for Ace, the last thing will happen is to keep more eyes on Whitebeard than Ace.

I can't help but feel that some of the past villains will do more to hamper Ace's escape, lightening their sentences or something to that effect, than necessarily see the light of day again.

That would really be a good fight. Perhaps we'll see something similar to the Enies Lobby arc where the prisoners ~kinda side with the Marines and act as vigilante jurors.

i really hope none of the other person that luffy is with escapes. like this is just gonna be ridiculous. out of all the history of impel down, only one person ever escaped, and now theyre gonna be 5 escaping at the same time? i really hope this does not happen. luffys bounty will be insanely huge. i have to admit, itd be fun to see them all escape together, but logicaly and for the concept of impel down, especially at this moment, it would be dum to let all of them escape at once.

the recent anime episode and Luffy using haki for the first time made me wonder about the introduction of haki.

Im certain almost everybody here is perfectly aware of it. But I was somewhat surprised when I realized that haki was used in the very first chapter. Because when I first started watching One Piece I thought there was no intangible power levels like in other animes.
That fights came down to physique and techniques (and devil fruits), i.e. visible/understandable feats and that was very appealing to me.
Although now Im comfortable with the concept of haki because something like that is necessary in a world with such a big power spectrum.

Yeah you are'nt the first one and won't be the last one too.^^ And it's only natural to realize it now, as it was'nt POSSIBLE before... 'cause Haki was only introduced us pretty late.

at last i encourage myself to write in this beloved forum rather than just reading at it..hehehe...first of all....

WOW..it took so long for the 533rd chapter english scanlated, wonder whats going on? and when i checked the RAW, it somehow kinda jumbled in order (cause i compare it with the english translation) the english translation started with Momonga scene, while the RAW started with the appearance of 3 beast guard..hummm..hope it not takes that long...I CANT WAIT TO READ!!!!!

and secondly, for all of u guys who always said that Oda never kill people in One Piece (and i believed that), check this out http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/1/31/ dont mean to be smartass, but it's certain that this is a killing scene, but not that...mean..hahahaha

So i guess it's still a whole wide range of story to be picked by Oda, Ace's death. WB's death, Luffy's locked up, etc...we'll wait Oda

hahaha..fair enough..no major characters =p i missed that point, damn hahahaha =D but..Gol D. Roger?he's the behind the scene major character =p j/k

anyway, i think that there should be one epic moment where one of the guys i mentioned should die, but die bravely in war, and for his death, someone will get pumped up to revenge for the sake of the dead person (possibly will be called nakama/best friend/etc), and this will start the new story of one piece (again), it's just like a rebirth, it's one thing that One Piece should do, considering that it's been a hell lot of books and chapters...so i agree that this arc will be an upgrade for each character, either strength or new understandings on what their goal is

Doesnt need to be major. Connected to the plot is enough.
Sodom or Gomorrha (dont remember which one) had a cannon thru his heart and was left as dead. After both survived in the end I dont see how anyone can ever die in One Piece.

No one has died in the years we have been exploring the OP world. Maybe Oda is keeping it that way for a specific reason or no one will die that's a MAJOR character.

Sodom and Gomorrah both survived grievous injury.
Iceberg survived an assassination attempt.
Mr. 1 survived being cut by Zoro.
Eminem Eneru survived a gold ball chain attack.

And PELL decided that being blown up by a bomb just wasn't enough to keep him down... >_<

So... You don't die. You just get injured for a while. Get some tape, it's all good.

there were people that definitely died, like mr.11 or the guards from Alabasta drinking hero water, or Rossio the executioner and perhaps even Bellamy, but yes, I agree that no major character died -yet.

perhaps - under some circumstances - Oda doesn't kill those characters off to have death as something special for a certain character....
on the other hand it could as well be that for the majority of people that didn't die continuing their lifes defeated/ in prison was a far worse punishment.
