One Piece Mega Convo Thread, the 2nd Chapter

This still isn't really luffys main flashback its more or less luffy and aces flashback. I'm hoping luffy's main flashback is going to really emotional and something to do with his mother, seeing as if dragon is arguebly the biggest character at the moment in the one piece universe shouldn't luffys mum play just as big of a role. Seeing as ace saw neither of his parents and his mum died at his birth, it would suck if we had the same case with luffy.

Somewhere along the line a character development involving dragon and garp would be amazing, as their father and son! its like they had nether met with the mystory behind dragon. Damn one piece is gona get amazing and atleast we can trust oda too deliver.

I wouldn't classify Haki as a "move" it's more of an ability (technique) tbh. I personally think Luffy will need some assistance with improving/developing the control of his haki. This is the first occassion where I believe training is needed.

Besides the love-sick disease, Hancock really isn't a type to teach others anyway. Rayleigh definitely is and to some extent Elder Nyon is too. Luffy still needs some direction and knowledge when it comes to haki. He'll ,off course, naturally improve his haki on his own but he can't do it from the start imo.

I don't think Luffy's the 'training' type.. he learns from experience, any time you ever see anyone trying to teach him something he enters retard-mode.

Plus being trained by someone else always looks like a cop-out, this is a series where people get ideas from stuff they've seen, but come up with new moves on their own (even Zoro when he was a little kid), and all the people who know about haki have made a point of not mentioning it to Luffy, so it's gotta be something you work out for yourself.
The biggest example of this is Hancock, being stuck in a cabin with Luffy for several days with nothing to do, on the way to a ridiculously dangerous prison-break attempt, knowing he had huge haki potential, if it would've helped you'd think she would mention it..

Yeah we can also notice that Ivan didn't tell Luffy more about it too when he discovered his King Haki.

Did you all noticed that Oda has shown us that 9 or 10 Shanks main-crew ? If the monkey get counted, it's 10.

Yeah one thing to predict about his mum, she must be incredibly friendly and positive, because Luffy sure as hell didn't get that from his dad.

Did anyone notice in Chapter 0, (or at least in the anime version) Dragon was lurking suspiciously in a big cloak, but didn't have the tattoos on his face yet?

no offence but you should work on the "than" since it really hurts when i try to read it as " that "

any ways the painting part is rather likely , yet we didnt see dragon have that tatoo when the roger execution occured from the looks of things dragon seems like he is the one who created the revolution not that he joined it .

really? i dont think so. whatever it is, im sure its huge. whatever it is, im sure its a huge revelation.

x drake did say that he couldnt believe the pacifista had already reached that level. that leads me to believe that they have not reached its ultimate form. look at kuma and how strong he is, just imagine rogers as a pacifista.

think about luffy wants to be pirate king, but 1st he must overcome the the current king.

i am almost positive that rgers will make an appearance in the current storyline thats not a flashback

Just read again the chapter where Ace was nearly executed and see how it was done. The execution is obviously a decapitation in Roger's case. This is the best thing you can do if you want to be sure that he is dead, even more when it's about the strongest man in the world : the Pirate King.

Still I dont see it same way in Rogers case..
