One Piece Mega Convo Thread, the 2nd Chapter

Since the beginning, One Piece looks like a mythological story and thus it will likely continue to follow the same kind of development. There are two ends to a mythological story and the first looks like the good one for Luffy and the second for Roger. After the quest got achieved (One Piece => PK), the hero will come back to the normal word (out of the NW-GL => four seas) to make it take advantage of the result of his quest (true freedom). Or, after the quest got achieved (? => PK), the hero has to flee (from Portgas D. Rouge/Ace, from his crew, from life) because he angered the world (marines, illness, public execution (+ Squardo)).

IMO Roger didn't enjoyed the result of his conquest as it should be (Just one thing : FREEDOM, which's the most important for our hero), he was under the pressure of his illness, Baby and the marines.

And I've got a french analysis that explains why One Piece looks exactly like a mythological story for the moment but it's a bit difficult to translate...

Yep, as I stated before ... I think he will try to change the world along with his dad, brother, maybe Shanks as well, Supernovas ... due to what could the SHs may have concluded after knowing what happened in the Void century.

Indeed, I had forgotten that I use his website when I don't recall some events of One Piece and also because of his own analysis that I find great and that lack on the One Piece wiki.

You know who I already miss? Magellan. I've got this very strong suspicion we'll never see him in a full blown fight again since he'll stay in Impel Down. We might see Blackbeard or Shiryuu walking over him, but then never again.

Such a shame too, I liked Magellan's character and ability. Would love to see him sailing the high seas with his broken power. Oh well, I can always hope there's a good cover arc about him, Hannibal, Sadi-chan and the demon guards. Perhaps we'll even get to see what the demon guards look like in un-awakened Zoan form?

so far we have only seen 15 of WB's commanders. could the last of his commanders be undercover in the marines? that would explain how the gate was opened.


also i saw a pic of the gotousei, and 3 of them have large scars on them. seems kinda odd for the presidential type, which leads me to believe they have been in battles before, and they may be pretty strong. maybe they were all admirals or fleet admirals before they became gorousei.

one of them even cares a sword, could be possible future match up for zoro.

I hope he can have baby with nami and boa before he dies if that is possible(luffy's death), he is a rubber man, except if there is a rubber eating virus or plague

its going to be a while before the strawhats get back together. i know oda said he wanted to be on to the new world by years end, but doesnt seem like that may happen with only 6 chapters to go.

I think it's possible in 6 chapter, and the last one would be in the Shabondy Archipelago and kinda like this and this, however, the only difference would be Luffy and Ace running away together (or Ace could have left the MHQ with his nakama) and ... Dragon to the rescue.

But I personally am glad that Oda does not force some lame love stories and affairs on us like Naruto did and it fell flat on its belly and hopefully broke its neck.
Honestly I don't know if a real love story beyond pure comic relief is adequate in One piece and I am glad that the manga uses more the actionw ay pact along with the notion of friendship
