Well, it was quite obvious since Teach introduced himself as BLACK Beard. Black represents evil, so to say... and you know the rest...

He's gonna be the final villain without a doubt.

Also, he was saying that becoming a Shichibukai was just a PART of his plan, which apparantly implies that he is going to become Younko someday.

As it was mentioned before, I think that BB rather aims for more that "just" a Yonkou. I don't think that he would share his power with anyone, as a Yonkou does. He wants to have unrivaled wealth, some other 3 dudes with the same position would be a nuisance for him. So he wants rather to become a Pirate King, if you can call him that considering his ways -_-'. He might use the position of a Yonkou as a stepping stone to reach his ultimate goal, though ... but that's just a speculation.

Yonkou and the Sacred BeastsMyth: There are 4 yonkou like the 4 sacred beasts of Japan (Red phoenix, Azure/Blue dragon, White tiger, Black turtle). Shanks and Whitebeard already match two of the colours (Red and White), I beat the last two Yonkou have nicknames that match the colours (Blue/Azure and Black)!

Fact: Unconfirmed. Most other animes that share One Pieces genre will generally have some reference to the 4 sacred beast in them somewhere so anime fans in general are always expecting them. For now however, it can only be regarded as speculation, although Oda has reference other Japanese folklores already in One Piece as seen with the Marine Admirals

So there will be two Black Turtle (IMO just a coincidence or ... or after this war the Yonkous will get down to action ... you know ... they'd have the same dream as the other pirates, thus your theory is true )

I think BlackBeard isn't interested in a Yonkou title.

The other 2 Yonkous aren't relavent to story yet, but it's true tha WB death will make the power shift... And whom will take seat? Ace? Marco? BB? Luffy?
The best thing about ODA is that he never does anything as aspected...
It will defenetly be a great surprise.

I don't think so since it would be a little bit too obvious, wouldn't it? Dragon would be the only one (so far) that had his link to the Sacred Beasts in his name and not the epithet. I just ran over translations for "KAI"[1] in Kaidou and sure found "night"/"dark" or "ashes" as possible translations but... since the name was given in Katakana script (as it was with Dragon's) I highly doubt we could determine the link to one of the sacred beasts without the epithet.

About Dragon: I suspect him to be a former WG agent that somehow stumbled over the Lost Chronicles...

Kizaru, Aokiji and Akainu are in active duty. They get their vegies, get their training and have to keep up with the overall physical fitness (Aokiji evern rides a bicycle! :P). Rayliegh is an old drunkard, who sometimes goes missing for weeks while in a drunk-spree, works only when he needs money, wasn't active at least since the Roger Pirates were dissolved. See the difference?

My father for example is well over 60 but hasn't got a single gray hair on him (and no, he is not bald), is as fit as an average 40'y old guy (or even better) and I'm quite sure he would tire his own son (my older brother) to death. Hell, I think I would have a hard time keeping up with him in every day physical activities (my brother is going to hit 40 in a couple of years, I'm a little younger). I realize that this does not translate directly into the fantasy manga world, but let's be honest - Oda seems to follow the basic intuition and logic rules unless he directly sees them in the way of the story progression (and then we see a building the size of the Empire State being dropped on somebody's face).

I just think that dragon might appear next chapter (since akainu is about to kil luffy now) and if the wind blows at magma, magma gets indeed hotter XD iw onder if the fight will be serious then^^ I wonder though if "hot" in japanese has a sexual meaning^^

well, if ace if fire and akainu's magma is >> Ace fire then wind wouldn't help except he join forces with Ace which I doubt.

Agreed about the real world, but that's still speculation rather than what we concretely have to go on, i.e. that Rayleigh looks considerably older than Kizaru, and that he looked 40-50 even back when Rogers was executed in chapter 0.

Because from what I've seen with Marco, his Phoenix Zoan will allow him to regenerate even when he is in human form. Obviously I can't say for certain what is right and what is wrong, but I believe that Mythical Zoans have additional powers according to the animal and that they can use them while in the human form, hence Dragon seemingly controlling the weather while normal.

Also, his name, Monkey D. Dragon, is romanised. Certainly not everyone in the Japanese audience understands that it means Ryu - Dragon.

Sure, but all hints so far on the link to the Four Sacred Beasts are given through the epithets based on one color name + (secondary) some relation to hair in Japanese (shirohige, akagami) and not the beast.

So: I guess there may be epithets like aomayu (blue brows), aotategami (blue mane) or kuroikazura (black wig)

I don't expect Kurohige already to be a reference to Black Tortoise though.

I think that his tattoos represent "his rebellion against the WG", in fact in the chapter 0 Dragon doesn't have any tattoo, perhaps because He wasn't a rebel to that time.

Just something that came into my mind:

How can we be sure that there will bei 7 shichibukai and 4 yonkou after this war.
I mean, okay the number is hidden in the name itself, but originally the 7 warlords were "hired" to create a balance between the 4 mightiest pirates in the New World and the World Government.

We also know that the members within these organizations aren`t equally strong.
(Moria < Mihawk for example)

So if now Whitebeard, the world`s strongest pirate, dies in this battle, the balance would shift dramatically and the numbers could be changed.

Also the Shichibukai will lose some members after this war.



This could lead to disbanding these organizations and the New Age of chaos would begin.

Hey, I was just reviewing this scene and does anybody know when Sengoku transform to his budda stone form did his marine coat turn into stone also? because from the looks of the picture it's also shaded in so I'm a little confused if it's just the shadow.
