G8 was the best filler arc, period! I loved every second of it! It's ashame none of the others were on par with it.

Anyway, what do you guys think will become of Moria ? Will Mihawk still travel the seas on his own?

I wish the shiki just broke free and just lived their own life and we got some info on them. Moria would go after the yonkou that destroyed him. Mihawk would just relax at sea, and idk about the rest.

I don't know about Mihawk but I think Luffy will inspire him =)

If only Oda made Shiki an enemy of Luffy in the manga instead of the movie, at least he would be known as the guy who defeated Shiki

At the rate things are going, we don't even know who's gonna make it out of Marineford alive. I think all the shichibukais will survive though. I really can't wait for current arc to be over though; I'd hope within 5 chapters it'll be over. How long to you think the SHs will spend on Fishman Island? I'd hope its not more than a volume or one and a half or the other half would be the journey to getting to the NW

there has to be some enemy on Fishman Island, that or some sort of learning thing. its been talked about so much it wont be a 5 chapter island, itll be a 1 volume OR MORE island.

Well, going by the evidence that everyone of them (SH pirates) had grew in strenght from island to island, if he survive (witch is a given), after what he has experienced in the last 30 hours, not including Amazon Lily, you can safely bet that he will be at least two or three times stronger the before! Yay! (maybe I'm pushing it a bit too far, but seriously, he has gone trough a WHOLE lot, surviving the island of women, breking into ID, making it down to Level 6, escape from there with an army of prisoner, partecipated with a major role in one of the greatest conflict in history... he could really put everyone to shame if he treasure enough of what he has done lately, man ).

Havinf filler battles would mean prolonging battles that only lasted a panel, for example Mihawk vs Das Bones, or Crocodile or the Newkama pair that attacked him; something like that or even against Vista. And don't forget they showed Jonathan in the marineford scene, so I'm guessing he's gonna have strategic role to play alongside Sengoku.

@xerous: yeah sorry I didn't answer before but yeah Commander Jonathan is a filler character in charge of the G-8 marine base where the SHs land after leaving Skypiea in the anime. He's a strategist whose said to have some acquiantaince with Akainu.

I think the Pacisfistas will defintely be upgraded/improved in the future. They failed in this war, I thought they would have a bigger role to play but meh. I'm so p**sed that Kuma/PX-Zero didn't come back and do something interesting. I really hoped Iva or someone would "revive" him to his true self again but that didn't happen.

Well, they've failed because they were attacked by someone the Marines would not have thought to betray them... If there's going to be an upgrade then that they will be allowed to take action on an ally that turns on them, I guess - which may backfire at some point. I'd love to see Oda bringing up Asimov's robot rules.

Yeah, I thought it was a bit naïve of the Marines to think that the shichibukai wouldn't tur on them during the war, they should have had the Pacifistas attack whoever tried to protect pirates, but you live and you learn and I doubt anyone took out more PXs than Hancock. Apparently they were falling left and right...I hope that if Oda brings in some robot rules it nothing too complicated otherwise it'd wouldn't be good.

i actually hope they dont make filler battles. i mean its one thing to extend certain fights, but is there really a need??? look at the ID arc, there were no extensions, i think, and it turned out great!!!!!!!

Filler battles(if there are any) will involve Jonathan and his subordinate, apart from that they'll most likely extend a few fights, I hope they don't extend Mihawk's fights because he was intentionally made to take care of those fodder characters that quickly, if they extend his fights then it would be contradictory to what he's supposed to be shown as.

There really isnt a need for that. What they can extend is the ace/wb flashback. that would be cool.

I think than in the anime will be add some fights with Moria, with Kuma and "Crocodile vs Mihawk".
But fights as Das Bones vs Mihawk or Mihawk vs the Okama (perhaps they will add the number of Okama) will not be add "fillers parts", because otherwise Mihawk's image will be weakened.

@gcat: the Ace and Whitebeard scene could maybe take 2 episodes if done properly, any flashbacks we've seen so far has the potential to be extended. I'm really looking forward to the war, I hope the production company really pull out all the stops in terms of animations and don't offer half arsed jobs. Inoue should come back and do a few episodes and all the other top ADs.
