While we wait 2 weeks for the chapter though are there any mangas anyone recommends reading? I'm already reading Hunterxhunter, Naruto, bleach, psyren, fairytale, and claymore.

i have a theory about the devil fruits. i think they are man made. i think the 20 kings had someone invent them to battle the warriors from the ancient kingdom. since jaguar was a D and he is a giant, the kingdom probably had a types of races. they probably all had the strong haki and thats why they were feared so much. over time some of te warriors haki got so strong that it was especially feared.

i assume the 1st one to develop such haki was one of the kings of the ancient kingdom and thus is why it is called the kings disposition, the ability to stand above others.

the king middle initial probably was D and after their country was being wiped out, a few members of the royal family stayed alive and thus the will of D carried on. over the years the D's story proably faded from memory, but was told to the most important members of the WG(gorousei and fleet admirals.), so to ensure they what was wiped out so long ago, does not spark up again to reclaim there rightful place.

I read some old chapter and Dragon said he will meet Luffy soon enough. That was 142 chapters ago... I really hope that revolutionary army island Peladigo (or whatever it's called) is near the Red Line when Strawhats arrive in the New World so they can visit and meet up fast (in like 100 chapters or so.. woo!)

I really hope though that it was in fact the Gorousei, not some new ultra-super-shadow-hidden group like CP9 was supposed to be. Pulling out some new group with ultra strong members would be lame.

Although, has it ever been mentioned if CP9 were the strongest of the Cipher Pol groups, or just that they were the last one? If not, maybe we will see some more CP groups in the future with some very interesting members...

And why didn't any of them participate in the war ?

And as I recall it there was supposed to be 8CP units and the ninth one was the secret one hidden from the public eye.
Oda also made it pretty clear that the power of the CP groups laddered from 1 to 9. So we will probably not see another one Stronger then the previous CP9

They're World Government employees, not Marines. They're also more of policemen than fighters; CP9 was assassins. Their intention is to completely obliterate weaklings without a trace, not to have long hard fights with strong opponents (so it's unfortunate they encountered the straw hats).

I think Doflamingo is referring to the Gorosei, but I also like seeing that the "Forces of Darkness" or whatever you want to call them seem to be coalescing. I would like to think the Gorosei do have a hidden agenda the Marines don't know about. Doflamingo would be in on it, maybe Akainu, maybe Vegapunk and co., maybe bring some level 6ers into the fold, etc. While I'm blindly speculating, maybe this is what Kuma told Rayleigh about.

I'm be skeptical since haki seems the best way to beat devil fruits. "Boss we have this new weapon! It's only weakness is the ocean, and the stuff our enemies are using!"

What I feel strange about Moria situation is that it contradicts the Gorousei protecting the Shichibukai at Thrilliar Bark. They did it because a Shichibukai being taken down would make people question the government allies power... and so I can't see why "dying in battle" would be different.

I am starting to think the "higher ups" being Vegapunk. Would he want to use Moria for a Pacifista model? Moria has a huge body like Kuma, and at least is the most durable characters so far after Whitebeard.

luffy is just so dumb he's familiar with haki since he was a kid yet he never bothered to ask about it , its just annoying why cant he just say , im rubber and im hurt which means its some sort of power i have to learn .

kinda of topic here but do you mean the dubbed version who didnt get rights on characters names? or some fansub?

That's already a mistranslation/name change in the German manga version. They didn't get the reference to the real life pirate that is written バーソロミュー・エル・ポートガス in 10th treasure. It's a pretty tough one, but a little research showed up Bartolomeu Português (Bartolomeu il Portoghese in Italian, written on this page as Bartolomeo Portugues). So, they though up on sth. like "Hey... it's already Monkey D., so... why not Puma D.?" and even Edited Mangas are most probably wrong on this part, IMHO.
