I agree with this perspective.
While precedent can be a good predictor, it doesn't predict 100% of the times, so keeping alternatives and keeping the most popular interpretation in mind is just worthwhile. Nothing wrong with an open mind.
Thanks for understanding and you're totally right. I suppose this could even apply to the anime as well where they get some initial color schemes right, like with Garp, and some wrong, like with Marco. Not always right, but not always wrong, and always worth keeping in mind during speculation until further examples come to light.

Yes. Just like what said to you. The color scheme is not definite proof and could be wrong.

There were further points though, but you dismissed them as somehow lesser evidence. While the coloring was the least convincing evidence.

You were just wrong about this this time. It happens, can't be right always.
Nah, I disagree. It’s always valid to keep in mind like I said, since some initial colorings are right and some are wrong. My “dismissing” them as “lesser evidence” isn’t quite accurate.

I never thought that. It’s natural to question everything when it comes to speculation, but not immediate dismissal. Good speculation to me considers various possibilities based on available examples, which I find rather fun too. I’m sorry if you got the wrong impression!

I don't think it's always justification to immediately dismiss stuff like that though. I don't claim he colorists are always right, but if it's part of the manga, then it's worth keeping in mind until further examples come along.
It's not part of the manga made by Oda which is the point. The fact that he was seen chilling with Crocus and was shown immediately after Luffy said Shanks' family was the Roger Pirates were dead giveaways.

I still felt that the coloring was worth keeping in mind until proven otherwise, so I don’t regret keeping it in mind despite the recent revelation. lol

I mean anyone can change in this manga... look at Chopper... that amount of physical change shouldn't be possible in a time skip... he's a different character.
I feel like the Denjiro twist was only yesterday.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but isn't what makes the manga the canon/source of truth the fact that it comes from Oda. So basically Oda is the only reliable source for these things. However the color manga that are not official cover pages done by Oda are just colorists work in the same way animators add color. So why hold the colorists decisions in any higher regard than animators work?

Either it’s part of the manga or not. This doesn’t need to be overly complicated. At that point, you might as well put vivre cards, databooks, etc. in the same category and make it much more needlessly complicated and frustrating beyond that. If you doubt the material, then fine. If someone wants to take the material with a grain of salt, also fine.

That is the last time I will address this since I don’t want to further derail the thread. If anyone takes issue with my view on this and continues to be overly strict, overly limited, and overly picky with what they accept, then learn when to agree to disagree, especially when there’s nothing left to say, and I hope you receive less frustration/annoyance and more tranquility/happiness that way.

Keep in mind what Trip_LLL said:

If any of the rest of you are unable to accept that philosophy, then you will only make it harder for yourself, and that would be unfortunate. It doesn’t help anyone to keep fighting a losing battle, so I wish all the best. Thank you.

I was just curious about it, not trying to be mean/hostile. It seems we don't happen to agree on what is a good source of truth. We have different litmus test by which we judge how accurate/good a source is. For me it's as simple as did it come from Oda or not, regardless of the vehicle that delivered it e.g. manga, anime, data book etc. I personally think this is simple and not that complicated but to each their own.

It‘s freshly grilled Dragon
Help yourself!
I say any action involving Luffys‘s dad would be nice. Some ancient dragon (creature) lore from Elbaf or something related to Kaido would be nice as well.

Either Dragon moves, or Dragon looks to the side, either way he moves xD

Could be some ancient Dragon like creature related to Elbaph or Lufffy unlocks a new move? Dunno. Too vague.

Alright let‘s hope it‘s neither Dragon being shown while doing pretty much nothing (again) nor that it’s simply something obvious about the Celestial Dragons.😅

Actually, might seem likely Dragon will have to get more active after Caribou spills the info about the weapons and people start fighting each other over them, as well as for land in light of Vegapunk words.

Guess it‘s still too early in the story for Dragon to make a move.
So I like the idea about the dragon being hatched from the giant spotted egg that was on deck of the Oro Jackson for quite a while, but after the weird sandal hint maybe Gaban ate another Dragon DF, lol.

It's probably hatched from that giant egg that Roger had since we all assumed that Gaban had it.
