Hope we get some backstory on Loki. Has to be some reason he's seen the way he is. Would open more questions too as to why Shanks would go out of his way to capture Loki.

Seems that it's partly explained given how he was an asshole to Hajrudin both in past and present.

Maybe he didn't go out of his way too and it was just happenstance ( or they would say fate in the OP verse lol) since Loki had enough time too meet BM and fall in love with Lola.
Not saying that you're wrong (as I can think of many reasons why he would) I just don't remember it saying he went out of his way to do so. Only that Shanks was the one that beat him and brought him back.

Further delaying the action at hand and starting a flashback right now sounds just like Oda! As I‘m super curious about Harald and Loki (and Hajrudin too), I hope you are right on the call.

Yup, chances are high that the God‘s Knights are part of the flashback as well.

Yeah appearing right in the middle of the castle. Most teleportation things require someone to have been there before or know where they're going. Something to 'lock on to'. The fact the God Knights appeared there was certainly interesting.

It’s interesting, almost 20 chapters into this arc and Luffy hasn’t really done any fighting, aside from the big cat, Gaban’s very brief challenge, and the light tap on Loki.

Wasn‘t Fishman Island also like that? Not sure about the exact number of chapters untill Luffy had an actual battle, but it felt like it was rather late into the arc.
And yes I don‘t count him taming “Surume“ as an actual fight.

Here goes one more hint:
Considering the colours and that it‘s looking like a combined attack, this one has written Dorry(Blue Ogre) and Broggy(Red Ogre) all over it.

Sure, but that was years back when Oda really wanted to build up how different Luffy had changed in power until he got to Hody. In recent years, Whole Cake, Wano, and Egghead felt like a glorified gauntlet from the start, so I guess it's possible Oda wanted to scale back the fighting to some extent so that Elbaf can have more room for Luffy to adventure around and have more gags with the crew.

Come to think of it, Brook never did explain what kingdom he led a battle convoy for. He did mention more of his past of going to school at some point, which he never mentioned before. Makes me wonder when we'll learn more.

This might be true. I can actually picture a few things he‘s doing. Maybe he managed to hurt or scare away the manifested nightmares but going by the hints it‘s about his music, so might be that he‘s able to reach to the children or even wake them up.

I just think the crew near fire are the one capable stoping fire, Brook with ice, Nami with rain, n jinbei water control, n maybe Usop with his plant trick can stop the kid w/o touch them.

Brook has used music to put people to sleep so maybe he is able to wake them up with music too. Or maybe his music makes them not afraid of the monsters somehow effecting the conjurations.

I hope his drunk state is a way for him to slip up and actually show his hand.

I'd say he might be able to wake up the children/interact with them, sure, but perhaps he can also control the nightmares.. Nightmares/fears come from the soul, or something along those lines, and he's the soul king.
