I wouldn't recommend just taking Rocks as the lurking legend. Given the timing of the interview where the term came out and the translation of that interview, it could just as easily be Imu or Nika the mythological figure

Doesn't have to be them could have just been someone like Gaban since you know he's kind of a legend and he is lurking around.

But I hope Rocks is dead. Oda already has a hard time killing characters no need to bring more back.

I agree he is an amazing char.. and not subjected to just 1 personality... exactly like B.B.. Oda can show 3 whole chaps of him Kicking asses left and right and the next one in a Sanji look a like Romantic gag.... heart eyes and all..not to.mention.. despite his brutality.. he Keeps an Honor code.. like with Harald.. so sad he seems to have died, before any part of his plan.. could be achieved...Like the galley la giants or the mystic Dfs.

I would rule out Imu, too. Since Imu is keeping their very existence a secret from practically everybody.

But here's what I think is tricky. "Lurking Legend" implies someone hidden, but people know the legend of the first kings. You tell me. Does Oda "introducing" one of the lurking legends in the One Piece implicitly imply that he's revealing them to the people of one piece?

For additional context, the legend is an antagonist that will be in direct opposition to the strawhats, so it disqualifies a chunk of the possible characters.

Anyway with the hints being rather minimalistic I‘m expecting the spoilers to hit hard tomorrow. For some reason I think the Haki burst that was hinted at might be Harald‘s and or Rocks‘ doing.

To add to my Garland comment the first holy knight mentioned was in chapter 907 which came out in 2018.

Lol I mean the dude is the biological father of two of the strongest characters in the series one of them being Shanks. And that is the number one theory going around him. He would of course fail if he was trying to usurp him.

According to WorstGenHQ next week GV. But IIRC he‘s claiming it for a while now. We just wait and see. I guess we have more Harald and Xebec interactions and apparently young Moria or maybe a relative of him.

Possibly. Might be actual Oden stuff but since it is a bit early for Momo, it might be a general hint at father and son, yes.
