The talk about what Luffy has done vs Kaido etc is interesting.

Mostly Kaido and BM have been passive against the WG directly (and probably largely to that have been left alone - plus Kaido supplying weapons). There's the threat of what they would do but in the brief history we don't see him destroying the world (unless he did it behind the scenes elsewhere like with Wano). I think he just decided to get out of 'the game'. Same with BM.

Luffy was never expected to be able to retaliate against the WG in any way. He was a smallfry. But he has succeeded each time and destroyed or been involved with the the destruction of all 3 major institutions pre-time skip. I think WG/Gorosei would think 2x about confronting him directly, knowing what he can do. But then again they're still obsessed with targeting Robin. They're really dumb aren't they?

Dragon too has extremely huge potential to fuck over the world - but so far hasn't. We always think he probably will but he hasn't. It's potential. The only one to really change the world so far is Roger declaring OP real and creating the "Age of Piracy"

BB and even Weevil have done more vicious deeds too against the WG.

Not sure what to think of all this.

Vegapunk hijacking the signal to CP0..? Seems like something that happens on Wano will trigger the next arc.

Hoping the chapter is mostly world news.

Looking at the hints.. the first two seem to indicate something with androids? IIRC first one is from Ghost in a Shell and second is Cell the Android Sucker.

It'd be funny if SSG is the flower thingy on Ryukugyu's back. We've seen Usopp fight with plants and all. If SSG is a natural progression then maybe it's not an "android" or cyborg like the Pacifista, but the next iteration being an organic life form. In DBZ they went from mechanical androids to the biological creation of Cell.

If Vegapunk is the one calling CP0 then perhaps he's just trying to inform them that they can use it? Who knows. I do think that Akainu probably also has motivation to eavesdrop on CP0 / Gorosei calls. He's been shown to mostly disagree with the Gorosei and get annoyed at their pandering to the Tenryuubito.

Thing is that an admiral to hitjack a den den mucho, instead of just calling is kind of unnecessary. I will put it in this way.

-CP 0 is under gorosei not marines.

-An admiral telling an order to CP0 doesn't makes sense, cp0 will always obey gorosei first... They are blind dogs. Just remember how "envy" cp0 death dude was of x drake for doing as he wills.

-if an admiral wants to talk gorosei he can just call directly, no need to hitjack the call.

So for those an all related thought on the previous points, makes no sense that admiral green bull is the one doing that. Also to hitjack you need tech and stuff... Plant dude that doesn't eat doesn't sound very techy.

Green Bull seems very easy going. We know nothing about him, so we can't discard him being techsavvy the opposite way of Kizaru, who didn't even know how to operate a normal den den mushi.

The guy didn't even inform Akainu of where he was going until he was already there, so that could be a reason why he just hijacked the call on his way to ask them to wait for him, instead of going through an official marine chanel (which could be a "hassle" for someone easygoing unless he has a direct line with CP0 in his dendenmushi).

Also yes, CP0 obey the WG, not the marines, but if one of the top brass of the marines calls them telling them his on his way, it sounds like a good reason to wait mainly for the following reason: an ally stronger than they are is on his way, and they have to kidnap someone from under those monsters noses. We didn't hear/read the rest of the conversation and they may very well have asked the gorosei on how to proceed.


Oda could always surprise us next chapter, but there's no reason to think it couldn't be Ryukugyu calling.

I'm surprised anyone would be eavesdropping and connecting in. If it's not marines (which would be a separate arm) then who? Would imagine CP0s network to be the most secure in the world. (I agree with you that it's likely not Green Bull only in that the timing sort of works but the context doesn't).

However we've already seen Laffitte sneak into Mary Geoise so their network doesn't seem infallible.

I wonder tech-wise though if it's just a simple black den-den or a new variant we haven't seen.

Caribou seems the most likely candidate.
He stole Den Den Mushi from Onigashima at the start of the arc to jam and manipulate Den Den Mushi communications when Luffy took over Udon.
Caribou has knowledge about Poseidon, he's untrustworthy... he probably wants to bargain with the WG... he seems like the type to do such a thing and has the resources to do these things.

We also know Wano had a ton of weapons they were supposed to sell to CP0... Caribou has the capacity to steal these weapons and bargain with the WG too. Maybe he could become a future broker in weapons?

I don't see why someone like Vegapunk would interrupt the Gorosei... that would be the worst way to introduce a character we've been waiting for centuries to see. It's so obscure and uninteresting in my opinion. It also makes no sense based on current information.

Those comms sound more like someone trying to bargain with the CP0 or someone acquainted with CP0... but it's odd they don't recognise this person since thy asked who. I'd wager Caribou, probably bias on my side from a logical standpoint, or some other random character... but I don't see any other candidate. Hell, I'd entertain Orochi assuming he somehow still has some life left within him, lol.
I'm more likely to entertain Orochi on those comms than Greenbull.

Nahh, no way it's Vegapunk. I don't think he would talk like that from what we know. He's probably a very shy/nerdy type guy. I think VP will soon realize how corrupt WG is and will switch sides and will have a way to still control the SSG and turn them to the SH alliance side and eventually Dragon's team.

so once the RA overthrows the WG, I bet they'll have to be even more strict with pirates. They can't just look away especially at pirates that are hurting the innocent people. Imo, RA will give everyone the freedom to be a pirate but it'll mainly be based on your actions etc and the threat to the general public instead of a threat to the WG for exposing them etc

As far as yonkou status. I don't think there is a fixed number of emperors. Hence the 5th emperor thing. There could be only 2 or three...or maybe 6.

Finding out new bounties is always great, but knowing what Green Bull is able to do is very exciting.
