This probably confirms Sabo’s defeat and that there will be a final war Pirate King + Revolutionaries vs. World Government like there was a Marineford war with Whitebeard Pirates vs. Marines + Shichibukai. This fight will occur in Marigeoise where Sabo was captured by the Admirals. If Sabo’s execution is announced for the next 1 or 2 months in One Piece timeline this means that Luffy will become Pirate King in the next 1-2 months, will gather the Ancient Weapons and will go to Marigeoise to accomplish the One Piece project and save Sabo. Oda is not exaggerating when he says we are at the Final Saga and he will start revealing the mysteries of One Piece manga.

Yeah, there were other factors and motivators too. But the "rescue" aspect was a very important motivator for Luffy, it made Luffy have stake and made things personal for him.
I would agree with you that, I wouldn't be a fan of a 2nd Robin rescue.
But, it happening for Sabo and/or Boa is very much a real possibility, and it wouldn't be too bad. Yeah, Luffy doesn't like the govt and Tenryubito, but he wouldn't actively move against them if things aren't personal for him.

They clearly had no plan of a direct confrontation.
Apart from 2 Admirals themselves, there were vice Admirals, other admiral type figures such as Garp and Kong, CP0 members such as Lucci and Kaku (Lucci himself is Sabo level if movie means something) etc. It was going to be a complete stomp
What probably happened was that they just wanted to hide and get information, and rescue Kuma. And Sabo ruined the stealth operation through his impulsive actions
It is no secret that Oda reuses old patterns over and over again.. If Sabo gets caught after using entei his faith will be the same as Aces.. perhaphs this time, Luffy won't fail rescuing his only remaining brother..

I don't think Sabo and the gang initially planned on clashing with the Marines there. Probably wanted to pull a stunt and declare the war against the WG, but that's it.
Seeing Kuma in that state enraged Sabo and he had to do something about it. Luffy would've done the same, Ace would've done the same.
Honestly, my only concern with a save your brother arc 2.0 is that it is repetitive and I think it's too early for Luffy to have a clash against the WG. Unless Oda wants to really have another arc with Luffy but no SHs (Luffy + revolutionaries maybe ?). But I think it is unlikely to see Luffy go save Sabo without the rest of his crew insisting on joining (Robin especially).
I honestly hope the news about Sabo are about 'death'. This means he must've been able to escape and the WG chose to report him as dead. Although, very likely that the death part is more in relation to Cobra.
I don't think sabo is really dead because we saw ace vs teach way long before the news of his execution, while here we're having the opposite, hearing of his death before seeing what happened.

Well the hints say northwestern. So I just kind of took Shanks west blue and the red dragon plus his ship stuff. And the possibility that Shanks may have done something to keep up power with the other Yonko. I mean if Mihawk said he would not fight a one armed guy as it is like a handicap for him, then it is possible Shanks losing his arm is disadvantageous to him vs other Yonko.
And we see an example with Kidd, who lost his arm to Shanks.
The only reason Kidd doesn't really suffer from it is because his devil fruit allows him to just make a new arm.
Perospero the same, candy arm.
Orochi cut off one head and his devil fruit still allowed him to survive.
Big Mom broken arm/wrist/forearm devil fruit repairs it.
So I am just saying it wouldn't be surprising if Oda threw it in later.

I find it odd Shanks lost an arm and still became a Yonko.
And with Luffy's fruit we are naturally inclined to believe it was a paramecia and it was a zoan which we learn later. Same fruit related to Shanks.
So now we are naturally inclined to believe Shanks is a non devil fruit user because we all saw him swim to save Luffy. That was many years ago.
The mention of Blackbeard traveling with Whitebeard being seen as his best chance to find a devil fruit.
It wouldn't be odd to find out years later he has one. Every other Yonko does.
Of course Oda can keep him the exception as well though.

Also, would be nice if dark horse was actually Sanji lol. And the trees are greenbull. Since amongst the main factions he kind of is a dark horse as he isn't a supernova but powerful enough to be one.
